Johnny Depp denies attacking his wife, claims she only wants his millions

Johnny Depp has denied claims in legal files which shows him as a tyrant who left his wife "truly fearing for her life".

Lawyers for the star said he would contest claims by actress Amber Heard that he hurled an iPhone at her. Depp's furious denial came as ­explosive new details about the celebrity couple's marriage emerged. As a $400million divorce fight stands.

his lawyer Laura Wasser said in a statement: "Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse. "Amber is a successful model and actress who earns her own income and is capable of supporting herself.Amber's anger certainly cannot drive this dissolution proceeding."
