According to a tweeter Miss Tekenah, a man was assassinated by unknown assailants, in broad daylight opposite Oando filling station at Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt, Rivers state. Quite a terrible affair

LEKKI Gardens boss Richard Nyong granted bail!
Lekki Grarden, Richard Nyong, has been granted bail. Mr. Nyong was detained by the police following the collapse of his 5-storey-builing under construction on Kushenla Road, Ikate Elegushi, Lekki on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 that left over 20 persons dead. Mr. Freeze shared the news on Instagram.
How 33-year-old Man Rapes 8yr Old Neighbour's Daughter Using N10 Biscuit in Ajegunle
33-year-old man, identified as, Freedom Barryneh is in police net for allegedly raping his neighbour's 8-year-old daughter in Ajegunle area of Lagos State. The incident happened after the victim, approached the suspect and requested N10 from him to buy biscuit.
After giving her the money, Barryneh, who was watching a pornographic film when the minor entered his apartment, persuaded her to stay with him. While the movie was on, he allegedly told her to undress but she declined, saying her mother would beat her for doing so.
The suspect, however, allegedly resorted to force and allegedly dragged her into bed and raped her.
The girl opened up to her mother when she began to feel pains in her private parts.
The victim said, "I asked Mr. Freedom (Barryneh) to give me N10 to buy biscuit and he did. He took me inside his room. He was watching one video that was showing naked men and women. He asked me to remove my clothes, but I said my mother would beat me. He pushed me and put me on his bed. He removed my clothes and put his thing inside my private parts. I was afraid of telling my mother."
Her mother, identified only as Ellen, reported the incident at the Ajegunle Police Division which led to the suspect's arrest on March 3.
Punch saw that the results of medical tests conducted on the girl at the Ajeromi General Hospital, Lagos, stated, "Hymen broken with bruises around the infroitus."
The result, which was signed by one Dr I.A. Dauda, also stated that she suffered from "whitish foul smelling vaginal discharge."
Barryneh, who hails from Rivers State, admitted giving the girl N10 to buy biscuit, but denied raping her. He added that the allegation was an attempt to blackmail him.
He said, "I work with a private security outfit. She and her friends were playing when she came to me that she needed N10 to buy biscuit. She stood somewhere in my room waiting for the money. I was watching a love movie titled, 'Naked Weapon'. It involved sex. I was surprised when her mother reported at the station that I raped her daughter. I never had sex with the girl. I only gave her the money."
A police prosecutor, Woman Sergeant Francisca Okere, brought Barryneh before an Apapa Magistrate's Court on two counts of rape.
Okere told the court that the offence contravened sections 137 and 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
The charges read in part, "That you, Freedom Barryneh, sometime in August 2015, at about 14.30 hours on Akali Street, Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos, in the Apapa Magisterial District, did penetrate sexually with your penis the private parts of an eight-year-old girl, thereby committing an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011."
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge before the presiding magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Adegite, who admitted him to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
While adjourning for today March 24, 2016, Adegite added that the sureties must be gainfully employed and must present to the court evidence of tax payments.
This Young Lady Was Beheaded By a Guy She met on Facebook
A young girl was allegedly beheaded in Minna, Niger State after she went there to met a guy she has been communicating with on Facebook.
According to a Facebook user, Amanda Chisom who shared the news, the victim was lured with promises of marriage and how the said boyfriend is from a royal family.

"She was a classmate to my girlfriend..Met this guy on FB and they be been communicating for like 6months now… all of a sudden the guy started talking about Marriage and stuffs then sometimes in Feb, the guy invited her to his hometown in Minna for her to meet his Royal family as his soon be wife …she packed her bag told her sister about the journey and left on getting to Minna the guy came and picked her up from the pack and told her that there is a problem..and the problem is that the parents are quarrelling over him bringing a girl that is not tribe for marriage introduction, he persuaded the girl to put up in a hotel with him for now until he settled things with his parents
So the girl called her sister to tell her the change of plans with the guy and that was the last time the sister heard from her
Then after 3days the sister received a call from her sister's phone and the caller being a make asked her to come to a named Hotel in Minna to carry her sister's body…she was confused and scared and had to inform her family of the strange call after several days calling and cellphone switched off they hard to summon courage and travel to Minna at the said Hotel .Lo and Behold the girl was lying lifeless without a head..Meaning the guy she visited was a ritualist…after all her body was moved down to Ekpoma her hometown where she was buried…the culprit still at large

Businessman Sues Pastor Adefarasin Of House On The Rock N800m For Trespass
A Lagos businessman Mr Gerald Chukwueke and four other persons has dragged Pastor Adefarasin and the Incoporated Trustees of the Rock Foundation before a Lagos state High Court over trespass on a piece of land in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
Chukwueke alongside Chinelo Chukwueke, Mrs Martha Chukwueke, Germaine Logistics Limited and Germaine Auto Center Limited are seeking damages in the sum of N800m from the defendants.
On March 17, 2016 the applicants obtained an order of interim injunction restraining the defendants from further trespassing on the disputed land pending the hearing of their motion on notice which they said the defendants began trespassing since January
Justice Akinlade, who made the order, barred the defendants from "demolishing or removing any structure whatsoever be they temporary or permanent on the applicants' premises located at plots 15, 16, 17 and 18 located at 188 Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
The applicants are claiming that the that Deed of Assignment executed by Daiamond Bank Plc which gave ownership of the land to Eock Foundation was false

Ibinabo suffers her 3rd loss in court this year as court strips her off AGN presidency
Ibinabo Fiberesima, who was until yesterday, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, has been stripped of her position, by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos. This is the third time the actress, currently serving a 5-year long jail sentence, will be losing in court this year.
Earlier this year, a Port Harcourt High Court asked her to pay N10m for cheating an ex-beauty Queen. She also lost an appeal to stop her 5-year jail sentence. Now she has lost the battle for the AGN presidency to Emeka Ike. AGN's National Secretary, Femi Durojaiye, released a press statement to that effect.
It reads: "The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, this morning 23/3/2016 at the application and argument of Counsel to Actors Guild of Nigeria, Barr. Peter Andor Oboyi, struck out Ibinabo's and BOT suit challenging the nullification of her election to the Presidency of AGN and also challenging the legitimacy of the Presidency of Emeka Ike and his Exco. The implication of this judgement is that Engr. Emeka Ike led Exco remain the only authentic and lawful leaders of Actors Guild of Nigeria.
The Honourable Court vehemently reiterated the position of the judicial authority that, Ibinabo, her purported exco members and the Board of Trustees vacate forthwith the office of AGN both at the National and State level and accordingly surrender all AGN assets at their unlawful possession to the incumbent Engr Emeka Ike's government."
