EXPOSITO!!! Coscharis Motors Attempted To Bribe Pastor Bakare With Rolls Royce Phantom
Cosmas Maduka, whose auto dealership, Coscharis Motors, was involved in a shady car purchase deal by former Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah, apparently tried to offer Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly a Rolls Royce Phantom during the pastor's 60th birthday celebration, SaharaReporters has learnt. Coscharis Motors had presented invoices to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) claiming to have supplied two bulletproof BMW cars for the use of Ms. Oduah at the cost of $800,000 per car.
Mr. Bakare, a fiery pastor who was a former vice presidential running mate of Muhammadu Buhari, told his congregation in Lagos that he woke up early one day during the commissioning of a new branch of his church to find the expensive luxury car at his doorsteps.
He said he rejected the gift, stating that his interest was in good governance, adding that it would have been unconscionable to accept the car while a majority of Nigerians continue to wallow in abject poverty.
In his talk to his congregation, Mr. Bakare described the rebuffed car gift as well as the luxurious nature of the Rolls Royce Phantom. "I was sitting at home one day and they brought in a brand new 2015 Rolls-Royce into my house. My 60th birthday was coming," he said. "I looked at it, kai! This is awkward. When you open your car, your door goes this way, its own door goes that way. It clears the way so that there is nothing blocking your way.
"I saw a button. They said, 'It is an umbrella, sir. It is on every door in case it is raining, you just push it and the umbrella comes out.' I said: Na wa o. Then I said: Oya, leave this place.
"Where is the road that I will ride it upon? My heart is not in things like this. I asked my son to take a photograph of the brand new car as a proof," the pastor stated.
SaharaReporters confirmed from a source close to Mr. Bakare that the car came from Coscharis Motors. However, we could not ascertain whether it was an attempted gift from Mr. Maduka or whether someone else had paid the dealership to purchase the Roll Royce for the pastor.

In fact, when you look at the number of crashes and fatalities compared to the huge number of people flying today, we are in a golden era of aircraft safety.
A plane carrying mostly Chinese tourists has crashed into a river in Taiwan, killing at least 23 people.
Dramatic video footage emerged showing the TransAsia Airways plane clipping a bridge as it came down shortly after take-off from a Taipei airport.
The plane, carrying 58 people, has broken up and the fuselage is lying half-submerged in the Keelung River. Rescue efforts are ongoing.
At least 15 people have been pulled out alive, with 20 still missing.
Television footage showed some passengers wading clear of the sunken wreckage and a toddler being pulled out alive by rescuers.

Emergency teams have cut the plane open to gain access, attempting to reach the remaining passengers trapped in the front section of the fuselage.
"At the moment, things don't look too optimistic," Wu Jun-hong, a Taipei fire department official coordinating the rescue effort, told reporters.
Mr Wu said the fire department had requested heavy cranes to pull the body of the plane out of the water.

TransAsia said in a statement that one passenger had already been discharged from hospital.
The ATR-72 turbo-prop plane had just taken off from Taipei Songshan Airport and was heading to the Kinmen islands, just off the coast of the south-eastern Chinese city of Xiamen.
It is the second TransAsia ATR-72 to crash in seven months, following an accident last July which killed 48 people and injured 15.
The final communication from the pilots to air traffic control was "Mayday, mayday, engine flame out", according to a recording played on local media. The recording was not immediately verified by aviation officials.

In Photos: Protesters Storm INEC Office, Demand Shift of February General Elections
The youth gathered at the INEC headquarters in the Maitama District of Abuja asking it to delay the polls because of the difficulty in the distribution of the Permanent Voters Card, PVCs.
According to the protesters, only 40 per cent of the poll had been distributed ahead of the February 14
and 28 elections. They also claimed that INEC needed 960,000 ad hoc staff but that at the time of their protest the staff had not been engaged.
They argued that if the polls were allowed to go ahead as scheduled, several million Nigerians would not be able to vote.
The youth, who gathered at Unity Fountain beside Hilton Hotel before marching to the INEC headquarters on Zambezi Street, were bearing banners and placards with the inscriptions such as "Election is for general participation, not for selective few"
"INEC, do the right thing," "Don't disenfranchise Nigerians," "We demand for the extension of election to allow Nigerian exercise their franchise."

TRAGEDY!!Woman Gives Birth On Wheelchair and Baby Dies after being Dragged along Floor (In photos)
A baby boy died after he was born while his mother was being taken into surgery in a wheelchair and nurses accidentally dragged the newborn along the floor. The boy suffered fatal head injuries when his mother gave birth while in the wheelchair, and he was pulled along on his head for several feet before medical staff noticed.
The baby's mother, Shang Shao, 45, had been rushed to hospital in Luoyang City in central China's Henan province, and was already in labour when she was taken into surgery.
Ms Shang was only seven months pregnant when her water broke, and she was taken to hospital by
her partner Pan Mai, 46.
Despite already being in labour, a doctor decided Ms Shang needed a caesarean and she was placed in a chair to be wheeled into surgery.
Ms Shang was captured on CCTV as she gives birth to the boy while sitting in the wheelchair, and medical staff failing to notice the baby still attached by the umbilical cord.
The baby boy is then dragged on his head along the floor, as unsuspecting staff continue pushing Ms Shang down the hall before noticing a trail of blood.
A hospital spokesman said:
'The baby was taken into intensive care but died soon after of intracranial hematomas, a rupturing of a blood vessel between the skull and the brain. The doctor who suggested she be given a caesarean has been suspended from duty. He was inexperienced and should have consulted a senior doctor.
The nurses taking the mother have been disciplined as they should not have moved her in a wheelchair. They have been demoted and given a warning. This was a terrible incident and our hearts go out to the family.'
The family is now looking to sue the hospital and the baby's father Mr Pan said: 'This is the most traumatic day of our lives.'
