BUSINESS OT : The meeting is important, so be prepared - - -Billionaire Strive Masiyiwa

Pause:
When it comes to a business meeting, it's very important to be
prepared and not waste the other party's time, particularly if
you're the one who wants something.

There's a story told
about a young man who'd been trying very hard to see a very
important potential investor in his business venture. The
businessman finally invited the young man to pass by his
home early one morning for breakfast.

The man was relaxed,
in his home setting.
As they walked into the dining room, the young man spotted a
picture of the man shaking hands with a famous football
player.

"Sir, I see you know this great football player!" the young man
remarked excitedly.

"Yes, I know him very well."

"Wow! So you also support Man U?"

"Yes, I have supported Man U since I was a boy."

"Sir, I'm also a Man U supporter!"

"That's good," said the businessman, pointing the young man
to a chair.

The young man asked the elder investor what it was
like to meet this famous player in person.

It turned out the
businessman knew a lot about football, and began to talk
about important games that he'd seen.

"Sir, you saw that game in person?"
"I was there."
"Wow."

The conversation continued about football for the next 30
minutes as they ate a wonderful meal.

The young man really
enjoyed the food and felt he'd struck a good discussion with
the elder man now that they'd found a common interest. They
were even laughing and joking together as they shared

"football talk."

They had barely finished the meal when someone came in and
whispered something to the businessman.

He looked at his
watch and got up suddenly.

"I'm sorry, but I need to see the President," he said, and with
that got up and left. Meeting over. The young man never got
another chance to meet the investor.
Sadly, this happens to a lot of people, and often they have
themselves to blame.

You must be well prepared when you go
to see a potential partner or investor, particularly when it's you
who requested the meeting. Know what you came for, and
don't meander away.

Lessons:
# "Remember that good fortune often happens when
opportunity meets with preparation," said the great inventor
Thomas A. Edison (who patented about 1000 inventions
including the historic one that led to a commercially viable
incandescent light bulb!) Be well prepared. Preparation is
everything.

# Don't get sidetracked and lead the discussion into
something that adds absolutely no value to what you've come
for. Their conversation about football should have ended once
they sat down, even if it was of interest to the other party.
Politely lead the conversation into what you came to discuss.

# When a business meeting includes a meal, it's best to arrive
having already eaten. Choose the least complicated food on
offer, and the quickest to be delivered. You did not come for
food; you can eat at home.

# Get the deal done, my friend. Don't waste time!

# Avoid those long-winded greetings, without being rude.

# Have your "best slide" with you, in case they ask for
something in writing.

# Don't give them a 50-page document. They will not read it. A
"two-pager," with numbers, will invite a more detailed
submission.

# Practice and practice your presentation.

# Be relaxed. Being well prepared makes you relaxed.
Over 200 years ago, Benjamin Franklin gave advice that's
probably even more relevant today:

"By failing to prepare, you
are preparing to fail."

End.

AUH?? I Slipped And Penetrated Her By Accident --Millionaire Rapist Claim

Lol,  this is the most ridiculous defense I have heard lately

A millionaire property developer accused of raping a teenager while she slept claims he accidentally penetrated her when he fell on top of her.

Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46 year-old allegedly forced himself on the 18-year-old on the sofa of his Maida Vale flat.

'He said that he did fall onto her and his penis may have penetrated her vagina'.

Abdulaziz met victim in the Cirque le Soir nightclub in London, where she had been with a friend he (Abdulaziz ) had known for several months. He offered both women a lift home in his Aston Martin in August last year, before inviting them into his flat and taking the woman he knew into the bedroom for sex.

The next thing the alleged victim claims to remember is waking up early in the morning with Abdulazziz on top of her, forcing himself inside her.

"She woke up with the defendant kissing her and his penis in her vagina.

"She said: 'What are you doing?' and he said 'It's fine', indicating that her friend was asleep.

"She got up to find her friend, tried to wake her but couldn't, she then tried to get out of the flat as quickly as she could."

She then phoned the police.

The court was told that when Abdulaziz was arrested he responded: "She'll have to prove it."

He first claimed to police the teenager had pulled him on to her and placed his hand between her legs. However, when DNA tests found traces of semen he was re-interviewed in May.

The prosecutor Mr Jonathan Davies told the court: "On this occasion he said after he had sex with the complainant's friend his penis was still erect and he had semen on his hands when he went into the living room.

"He said in the second interview she pushed his hands down on to her vagina. He said that he did fall onto her and his penis may have penetrated her vagina."

Abdulaziz denies he raped the teenager. The trial continues.

PANDEMONIUM : 2 Dead Bodies Disappear From Mortuary In Benin

Wonders, A possible breakdown of law and order at the Benin City Central Hospital, was averted by the police on Friday, following the mysterious disappearance of two corpses from the hospital morgue.

It was gathered that relatives of the deceased persons had gone to the hospital on Thursday to collect the corpses for burial when they discovered that they were missing from the hospital mortuary.

The discovery caused stair and confusion at the hospital, as no one could offer reasonable explanation to the deceased families.

Michael Idemudia, the eldest son of one of the deceased, who spoke on behalf of the family, said his father died while he was being taken to the hospital for treatment.

He explained that his 54-years-old dead father, a retired police officer, was deposited in the mortuary on the 18 November, 2015.

He said he went to collect his clothes on the 21st of same month but could not understand why the corpse will be missing on the day of the burial when arrangements have been made.

Idemudia alleged the hospital management was doing nothing about it, rather they locked everywhere.

"My name is Idemudia Michael. I live at 23, Omomo Street off St. Saviour Road. He is my father, and we are from Ovia North-East local government area.

"We brought the corpse on the 18th of November, 2015 to this hospital. We were rushing him to the hospital when he gave up and we brought him here.

When he died, we were looking for money to burial him. We came to check on the 21st when they called me to come pick up his clothes.

"About two days ago, we came to clear the bills and we had no chance to check him again because we were in a hurry.

That is where we made the mistake of not checking him. When we came on Thursday to carry the corpse, it was nowhere to be found and the burial is Thursday and Friday.

"The hospital management said we should take it easy that they are going to investigate the matter," Idemudia said.

The family of late Lawrence Agbonlahor, whose body is also allegedly missing from the hospital mortuary, also narrated the suffering they have been made to go through as a result of the incident.

The younger brother of the deceased, Friday Agbonlahor, said he saw brother's corpse three days ago and could not understand how it suddenly disappeared.

"In this country, everything you suffer even the dead, to collect the corpse. I came to see it twice in not less than three weeks to ensure that they take care of it.

Only for us to come today (Friday) to remove the corpse and it is nowhere to be found.

"On Monday we saw the corpse and even on Thursday when we made preparation for the burial, they said we should not see it since the burial is on Friday.

"This morning somebody came to tell us that there is a problem in the mortuary because of missing corpse because they locked up everywhere.

I never envisaged that I will not be taking my corpse, only to get here they are telling me a different story," Agbolanhor said.

The hospital management could not be reached as they were said to be in an emergency meeting likely to resolve the mystery surrounding the missing corpses.

Following the incident, family members who deposited corpses of their dead ones at the hospital were alleged to be transferring them to other mortuary.

Dr Akinwale Adewunmi, the Chairman of the award committee said in a statement following the group's annual conference in the US

How Davido Escaped Being Beaten Up By Fan In Burkina Faso (Photo)

Not everyone that turn up for your party are your friends..... Chinese proverb

To some extent, not all fans that turn out for some shows enjoys the way some musicians spary water at them or throw their shirts, jewelries at them.

Recently Nigerian singer, Davido was Burkina Faso, to perform and it seems he got one of his fans angry when he sprayed his plastic water at the crowd who kept cheering him up.

One of the male fans who was not comfortable with his actions came up the stage to attack the singer but he was whisked away by the guards who were around the singer.

The singer and his HKN gang have since returned to the country in preparation on what next to do as the year gradually comes to an end with various shows lined up.

AUH!! People Doing Music Now Are Yahoo Boys And Drug Dealers - - Baba Fryo

Lol, he is saying something, read

Baba Fryo who released two smash singles in the 90s, Denge pose and Notice me, has said he never left the music scene because he was frustrated like many people have said, but the game changed. He said we no longer have raw talents and most people have flooded the music scene just because they are yahoo/drug boys and have the money. Fryo explained to Saturday beats on what he does now and how he has really not left his first love- the music industry. Enjoy!

"There was no time I left music, but the system has changed. At present, we don't have raw talents in the music industry; people doing music now are the 'Yahoo' and drug boys. They took over the industry.

A 'Yahoo boy' can just enter the studio because music is easy now unlike before when you would have to pass through many processes to release a song. Then you would sing from the beginning of that track till the end, but they cut corners nowadays which also explains why their songs don't last more than six months. When they play some of my songs like Denge Pose and Notice Me, people still dance to them and remember the lyrics. Many things have changed.

"It is not true that I quit music out of frustration. It can never be so. When I was growing up in Ajegunle, I became used to gossips. I cannot be moved by dirty talks because I have been hearing it all my life, especially when my music was famous. I am not the only artiste that has gone silent over the years; we have many but I am not willing to mention names. If they said I left music out of frustration, they should describe frustration. If I was frustrated out of music, I would tell people myself."

Baba Fryo said that to keep body and soul together, he became involved in land speculation despite the fact that he is from Delta State.

"I am still doing my music obviously; I go to shows. Also, it is not only Yoruba who are land speculators (Omo Onile) in Lagos. I collect my entitlements too, I sell lands. It does not matter that I am from Delta. Was I born in Delta? I was born and bred here, so I have the right to collect entitlement. I have lived in Lagos all my life," he said.

END TIME : Pastor's Only Son Beheads 11-year-old Girl for Rituals, Stabs Another

Things are happening in this country, please be watchful

Delta State Police Criminal Investigation Department has commenced investigation into the gruesome murder of an 11-year-old girl identified as Aghogho Igbi by a teenager, Silas Anidi who allegedly beheaded her for ritual purposes.

He was also alleged to have attempted to kill her sister, Favour, 13, when he was caught by neighbours.

Silas, who is the only son of the General Overseer of God Peculiar Evangelical Ministry, Sapele, Delta State and a family friend to the Igbi's family, had during a visit, smartly beheaded little Aghogho and was about to do same to the deceased's sister, Favour, when neighbours intervened and
got him arrested.

According to the police, Silas, 15, is currently in custody while his accomplice, simply identified as Christian is still at large.

Giving horrific details on how he carried out the act, Silas claimed that he was lured to commit the crime by his friend, Christian.

"It was his brother who is in Ghana that gave us the contract. He promised to pay us N50,000 and also help us to relocate to Ghana. I started monitoring the Igbi's family because I know that they used to leave their children at home and go out. Luckily on November 28, 2015, I visited their house and as God will have it, their elder sister, Janet said that she wanted to go to school for evening lesson. I was excited that I was left alone with the much younger ones.

I sat down on the rug and was watching cartoon network with Aghogho. While she was busy enjoying herself, I dragged her head back and sliced her throat.

I rushed to the next room where Favour was sleeping and tried to do the same but she woke up and started struggling with me. I tried to slice her throat but she started screaming. I only managed to stab her in the head but her screams were too much that neighbours were attracted. I was about to escape when neighbours caught me", Silas confessed.

Begging for mercy, Silas claimed that he cannot explain what led him into such a horrible act.

"I am the son of the General Overseer of God Peculiar Evangelical Ministry, Sapele, Delta State. I am ashamed of myself because my family especially my dad will be disappointed in me. I was not satisfied with the little money that we made in the church that is why I wanted to travel to Ghana to make money. I was deceived that until we get human head that we will not succeed. He promised to pay N50,000 for each human head", he added.

When Saturday Sun visited the Igbi residence at 3, Odudura Street off Okpe Road, Sapele, friends and well-wishers were seen consoling the family over the death of their daughter, Aghogho and thanking God for sparing the life of Favour.

Still recovering from the wound that she sustained during the incident, Favour, 13, said that she does not understand why Silas who was their family friend will suddenly attack them.

"We attended church vigil the previous night and I was in the room sleeping. I heard when someone was at the door, but since my sisters were around I assumed that they will attend to the visitor. I heard when my elder sister, Janet left the house and told Silas to relax since he is a close friend of the family.

In less than 10 minutes, I noticed that someone was trying to suffocate me with the pillow. I was shocked that it was Silas but since it was no longer a joke, I struggled to free myself from his grip. I kept screaming and he used a knife to stab me in the head. I was lucky that someone heard my voice and rushed to the room. He was later arrested while he was trying to escape through the roof.

I rushed out to the palour and saw that he had beheaded my sister. I don't know the kind of devil that entered into him that he had to kill my sister," she said crying.

One of the sympathizers while trying to console Favour claimed that he was the one who rushed into the house as soon as he heard Favour shouting for help.

"I was the one who dragged him down from the roof. I am still in shock because I cannot believe that Silas did this. He comes around to play with us whenever he wants. We see him as a brother. I am shocked but I wish that justice will be served," he said.

Confirming the incident, the state Commissioner of Police, Usman Baba Alkali said that investigation was ongoing while detectives are still on the trail of his accomplice, Christian and his brother who is based in Ghana. He advised members of the public to me wary of the kind of friends they allow into their homes.

MOST POPULAR : Petition To Ban Donald Trump From The UK Reaches 500,000

Half a million people have signed a petition calling for the US Presidential candidate to be blocked on 'hate speech' comments.

A petition to ban Donald Trump from Britain has soared over 500,000 signatures – making it what is thought to be the most popular ever.

A Mirror Online report shows that more than half a million people have signed the petition, which was launched after the US presidential hopeful called for all Muslims to be barred from entering America.

The petition reads that the "unacceptable behaviour" criteria used to stop hate preachers entering Britain "must be fairly applied to the rich as well as poor, and the weak as well as powerful".

Smashing the 500,000 threshold means the demand will be considered for a Commons debate.

But Chancellor George Osborne says the former US Apprentice star will not be banned from Britain despite his comments.

The Chancellor attacked the White House hopeful's "nonsense" remarks – branding him "profoundly wrong".

"I think the best way to defeat nonsense like this is to engage in robust, democratic debate and make it very clear that his views are not welcome," he said.

"That is the best way to deal with Donald Trump and his views, rather than try to ban presidential candidates."

Lagos Court Freezes All Kanu Nwankwo Bank Accounts Over N924M Unpaid Debt

I was just surfing the world Wide Web , then I came across this on-going fiasco, see for yourself people :

In a bid to recover a debt of N924,788,754.56, a Federal high court sitting in Lagos, has ordered that all accounts belonging to former captain of the Super Eagles, Nwankwo Kanu and his company, The Hardley Apartments anywhere and in any bank or financial institution in Nigeria should be frozen pending the hearing of a suit filed against him and his company.

Also affected by the other of the court is a Director of Hardley Apartment, Ayoola Gam-Ikon.

The order of the court was as a result of a debt recovery suit filed by Asset Management Corporation Of Nigeria (AMCON) against the defendants.

In an affidavit sworn to by a Credit officer in the Directorate of AMCON Mr Victor Igabor, filed and argued by Barrister Niyi Olopade, the deponent averred that sometime between May, 2008 and January 10,2011 Skye bank offered The Hardley Apartments engaged in business of Hospitality located at Plot 46 Waziri Ibrahim Crescent, Victoria island, Lagos a loan of N520,457,000.

The loan was secured by a mortgage on the company's three blocks of 40 accommodation units estimated in open market value of N395million as well as unconditional personal, joint and several guarantee of Ayoola Gam-Ikon and Nwankwo Kanu.

The defendants failed to repay the loan with the accrued interest despite repeated demands, consequent upon which Skye bank Plc assigned the defendants indebtedness in the sum of N558,313,905.37 as at 1st April, 2011 to the AMCON as a toxic bank asset in line with the establishment objective of the said AMCON.

Mr Igabor averred further that, this development was communicated to the defendants by Skye bank who admitted their indebtedness but praying that the assignment to AMCON be revoked.
The defendants' indebtedness as at the 15th October 2015 stood at N924,788,754.56 representing principal and interest while interest is still running.

Consequently, Igabor contended that The Hardley Apartments is in imminent of being dissipated, therefore if the application is not granted, Ayoola Gam-Ikon and Nawankwo Kanu could dissipate the assets of the company therefore urged the court to issue interim order of possessing of all movable and immovable properties known as Plot 46 Waziri Ibrahim Crescent, Victoria Island.

An order attaching the debt due from Hardley Apartments as well as debts accurring from the defendants jointly and severally and freezing all accounts belonging to the defendants jointly and severally in any bank or financial institution in Nigeria.

The presiding judge, Okon Abang while acceding to the request of AMCON, ordered that, AMCON shall in the interim possess all the movable and immovable properties known as Plot 46 Waziri Ibrahim Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos.

That in the interim the debt due or accruing from the Hardley Apartments as well as the debts accruing from the defendants jointly and severally and freezing all accounts belonging to the defendants jointly and severally anywhere and in any bank and any financial institution in Nigeria are hereby attached pending the hearing of this suit.

The matter has been adjourned for hearing.

As we have been waiting for the Management of the Station to start attending to cars since 6:30am, but the manager seems so loose and soft and the black market boys have taken over the affairs of the Station. But what gives me worries the most if the matter at which the black market boys buy fuel in a Polythene bag. This is a great danger not only to the fuel Station but to lives and properties around the environment . As at the time of writing this 12:00pm they have not yet start selling for cars.
