Governor Rochas Okorocha reportedly approved N600 million for Christmas tree and New Year decorations.

The cost is really surprising considering the fact that the state workers have not been paid salaries for several months.

the tree and its price have triggered concerns and reactions among Nigerians who started blaming Governor Okorocha, appealing to his conscience.

TOUCHING Confession Of a Cultist Arrested For Armed Robbery

A notorious cultist is now regretting his ways after being nabbed by operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) Enugu for robbery. The final year student of social works Department in one of the Enugu Based University-identified as Ugwuanyi Ezinwanne a.k.a Floky is currently in police custody as investigations continue.

It was gathered that the suspect with two other students who are now at large had allegedly stormed recently the house and premises of the victim at Nsukka where they stole one plasma Television,One Play Station and the sum of three Thousand Naira.

It was further gathered that following a report of the incident, the operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad moved swiftly where they arrested the suspect and a search in the house and premises of suspect,gave room for the recovery of the alleged robbed items.

Suspect is now regretting his action and and blamed the situation on his ability to live up to membership of cult group as he claimed that he used to be the capon (leader) of the Vikings confraternity in the years past.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident is intensified.

Photos From The Tragic Tanker Explosion Scene In Nnewi This Morning (very Graphic Photos)

Friday 25th, December will never be forgotten in the industrial town of Nnewi. What started out as joyous day with the celebrations of the birth of Christ turned sour a few hours ago. Reports reaching us from credible sources states that a Tanker carrying Butane Gas in the industrial town of Nnewi in Anambra State, just exploded killing over a hundred people. Cars and nearby buildings were charred beyond recognition and bodies littered the streets.

Cause of the explosion is still unknown but indications shows that the gas tank explosion occurred when the Butane Gas tanker was discharging it's content.

As at the time of filing this report, rescue operations are ongoing.

PARA: Angry Passengers at Abuja Airport Sleep Under Turkish Airline Plane (photos)

Some People don't have joy, like the popular saying goes, every one have their their limit.

These Nigerians based in Turkey and had arrived the county in very high spirits last Sunday onboard Turkish Airlines to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones. Only to find out on landing,

that their luggage had not been flown down with them from Istanbul, Turkey. They were told to check back on Tuesday, and when they showed up at the airport on Tuesday, were asked to come back again on Thursday. Last night they checked back, and when their luggage was still no where to be found, the stranded passengers swore not to let the Turkish Airline that just landed to leave till they get a good response.

These guys lay down beside the tires to ensure that while others vented their anger and frustration.
