actress and wife of Jide Kosoko, Henrietta Kosoko is dead

She passed on this morning

Henrietta who recently celebrated her 53rd birthday  slumped and was rushed to the hospital were she died.

She came into the limelight in 1995 after starring in movie titled, 'Omolade' as well as an English one named 'Onome'.

She was a  fantastic Yoruba and English actress of many years.  But Henrietta Kosoko, a very robust  actress, married to a popular actor and  one time president of the Association of Nigeria Theatre-Arts Practitioners (ANTP), an umbrella body of all Yoruba thespians in the country, Prince Jide Kosoko, cut her niche immediately after featuring in that  popular Yoruba movie, Omolade�, and Onome

So sad 😔: family of 7 perished in fire, burnt beyond recognition.

The seven that perished in the fire included a man, his four children and two visitors lost their lives when fire engulfed a flat at house number W 297 at Worakese, a surburb of Asante Mampong, Ghana, in the early hours of June 3.

Breaking Times reports that they were trapped by burglar proof and neighbours could not even enter and rescue them.

The cause of the fire remains unknown
and The family perished before help could come their way
Investigations are still ongoing.
