SHOCKING :Corpse of Beautiful Google manager, 27, is found naked and burned in woodland

A Google account manager has been found dead in 'horrific' circumstances after vanishing while jogging in woodland near her mum's home.

The body of Vanessa Marcotte was reportedly discovered naked and burned in a wooded area of Massachusetts, US, on Sunday night.

Detectives are now investigating the possibility that the 27-year-old was sexually assaulted before being set on fire and killed at the site.

Internet search giant Google has paid tribute to Vanessa, whose body was found just half a mile from her mum's house in Princeton.

The firm said in a statement: "Vanessa Marcotte was a much loved member of the Google team, working in our New York office for the last year and a half, and known for her ubiquitous smile, passion for volunteer work and love of Boston sports.

"We are deeply shocked and saddened, and our thoughts are with her family and friends."

Vanessa, who lived in New York City, was reported missing by her concerned family after going for a jog on Sunday afternoon, according to WCVB .

Her body was found around seven hours later, in woodland off Brooks Station Road. Shockingly, it was discovered in a 'naked and burned' state.

A state police source told News Center 5 that Vanessa had burns on her hands, feet and part of her head.

Worcester County District Attorney, Joseph Early Junior, described the circumstances surrounding the victim's death as 'horrific', Massachusetts Live reports.

The cause of Vanessa's 'murder' and whether she was assaulted are yet to be confirmed.

Police are now searching for a suspect or suspects, with officers continuing to scour the woodland where the young woman's body was found two days ago.

According to her social media profile, Vanessa graduated from Boston University in 2011. She was working as an account manager for Google at the time of her death.

Kidnappers caught in Enugu after receiving N5 Million for 85-year-old woman who later died (Photos)

According to El-masjid Abdul Umar who shared the story Facebook, an 85-year-old woman was kidnapped and later died in the hands of the kidnappers after she fell ill.

Read what he wrote below:

"Some Group Of kidnappers abducted a woman in her late 80's in Ezeagu, Enugu, tied her up in a tick forest unclad and in the night they will go back to their homes to sleep, leaving her alone in the thick forest daily for about a week under this heavy rain.

They demanded for a ransom of 20milllion Naira and after much dialogue between the family and kidnappers they concluded a ransom of 5m Naira which was immediately paid by family and expecting a call from them.

But no call and even when they tried to reach the kidnappers, no reply, so the family started tracing and investigating with the Anti kidnappers but thank God they caught one of the guys named Levinus Ude from Enugu omesi umumba ndi agu Eziagu in Benin who confessed that the woman died of cold and they buried her in that bush that's why they didn't contact the family again and mentioned the rest of the gang members such as Obiora Chiji from Umuene in Umena ndi Agu and Others.

All has been arrested yesterday and The woman's body that they buried 2ft has been recovered for a befitting burial."
