Meet Floyd Mayweather's Igbo Personal Car Dealer 'OBI OKEKE'

Actually heard about him for the first time today so as usual have dogged out some info about the man, Igbo Kwenu

Well to those of you that don't know him ,Obi Okeke is the c0-founder of Los Angeles-based prestige car dealership Fusion Luxury Motors.

He is known for having quite the clientele based on his nature of business, most outstanding among them, boxing champion Floyd Mayweather whose impressive car collection we featured here some months ago.



In an interview with Classic Driver, Obi says, 


"If there's one thing I've learnt, it's to deal with each client on an individual basis and give them whatever they need. That's why, when Floyd Mayweather calls you at 1am on a Saturday morning asking if he can look around the showroom, you get out of bed and you open it up."

The world-champion boxer has since become one of Obi's best clients, regularly adding Fusion-sourced cars to his collection.

Whaaaat?? Man Forced To Wed Corpse in Ebonyi State

A strange scenario played out in Ebonyi State over the weekend when a man, Onyema Orji, was forced to officially 'wed' his dead ex-wife so that he could claim his children from her family.

The incident which happened in Nwakpu community in Ikwo Local Government Area of the state, according to reports, was 'necessary' because Orji had divorced the woman known as Blessing, and she left with their children and later got married to another man.

After she died from a brief illness, Orji reportedly visited the family with items for her burial ceremony and to take home his children but was told by her family that for him to claim the children, he had to perform the traditional marriage rites on the late Blessing since he had not performed the rites when they were married, and to also enable him claim his kids.

Orji had no choice but to agree with the conditions so that he could take his children home.

JUST IN: Court Frees Former Bank PHB MD, Francis Atuche Over N25.7bn Theft

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja today freed the former Managing Director of defunct Bank PHB, Francis Atuche who was on trial for allegedly stealing N25.7 billion.

Atuche and his wife, Elizabeth, were standing trial over alleged theft of N25.7 billion belonging to the bank (now Keystone Bank). They are being prosecuted alongside a former Chief Financial Officer of the bank, Ugo Anyanwu.




In September 2014, Atuche denied the theft charge preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The former bank chief had argued that being a staunch member of the catholic church, it was impossible for him to engage in theft.

He also told the court how he grew a mortgage finance company — Pinnacle Investment Ltd — and transformed it into Platinum Bank Plc.



Atuche said the bank had to merge with Habib Bank following the mandatory N25 billion recapitalisation policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria under the former Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo.

According to him, the merger gave birth to Bank PHB which became one of the strongest banks in Nigeria while he was the Chief Executive Officer, PM News reports.
