Céline Dion's Husband Of 22Years, René Angélil Dies Of Throat Cancer At 73

Rene Angelil, 73, passed away this morning at his home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle against cancer.

Angélil, who guided Dion's career as her manager and mentor, is survived by the couple's three children – René-Charles, 14, and 5-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy – as well as Anne-Marie, Patrick and Jean-Pierre, his adult children from previous marriages.

"Mr. Angelil, 73, died of throat cancer at his home in Henderson while under the care of a physician," the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner said in a statement.

The coroner's office added that Angélil's death was due to natural causes and no further investigation into his death was expected.

Born in Montreal, Angélil began his career as part of the Canadian pop rock group The Baronets in the 1960s. While the group had a modest number of hits, they eventually broke up and Angélil found success as a music manager.

In 1980, he discovered Dion, then 12, after she submitted a demo tape of a song she had written with her mother. He signed her shortly afterwards, mortgaging his home to pay for her debut album La Voix Du Bon Dieu.

Angélil was married twice before he wed his protégée – first to Denyse Duquette from 1966-1972, then to singer Anne Renée from 1974-1980. The music manager tied the knot with Dion in 1994.

A Nigerian man living in China allegedly killed his lover, a Ugandan named Sherry Koko yesterday.

The couple are pictured above. According to Sherry Koko's friends on Facebook, her Nigerian lover allegedly pushed her through a window after a small misunderstanding in China.

They allso allege that this Nigerian man was very violent. She has been physically abused for a very long time. But she stayed with him because of love. She left behind a two month old baby.

Music Legend David Bowie has been Secretly Cremated without a Funeral

Music legend David Bowie has been secretly cremated without any of his family or friends present.

The iconic singer told his loved ones he wanted to "go without any fuss" and not have a funeral service or public memorial.

A source in New York told the Mirror:

"There is no public or private service or a public memorial. There is nothing."

Since the singer's death on Sunday music lovers have been speculating about what plans the legendary showman had for his funeral.

But unbeknown to his millions of fans around the world, his body was quietly cremated shortly after he died.

As the star bravely battled liver cancer over the last 18 months, he made his plans clear to his family, including wife Iman, 60, for what he wanted to happen when the time came.

The Starman singer said he only wanted to be remembered for the good times they shared and the music he made.

A US source said:

"In many respects you don't need a memorial or service to remember David by...you have his music instead.
"He would have wanted to just disappear with no fuss, no big show, no fan-fare. This would totally be his style.
"His last album Blackstar was very much his goodbye to fans instead."

Bowie, who wasn't religious, released the album to rave reviews on January 8 – his 69th birthday.

 When it seems like all is well after Dammy Krane apologized to Wizkid and his fans for calling the starboy a thief and a bitch a few days ago, events that took place in Quilox nightclub yesterday point to the opposite, withWizkid bloodying Dammy Krane with a bottle of St Remy.

According to The NET, Wizkid allegedly broke a bottle on Dammy Krane's head  in the early hours of this morning after a fight ensued between the two at Club Quilox in Lekki 

The pair attended last night's All Black Party which was hosted by footballer, Obafemi Martins and things sort of escalated between the two leading to a bottle being broken on Dammy Krane's head by Wizkid.

A source said, 'When Wizkid entered the club, it seemed he saw Dammy Krane but didn't go to meet him, then about 15 minutes later, it seemed Dammy was showing him some attitude, then Wizkid went to meet him. The next thing we saw everywhere had scattered. Wizkid broke a bottle on his head before bouncers separated them'.

Multiple eye witnesses say Wizkid clearly attacked first before bouncers tried to separate them. Then the club owner Shina Peller waded into the fight as well.

With a bloodied head, Dammy tried fighting back but he was held back by people. Wizkid moved to another VIP section and Dammy tried to go and meet him there to get his revenge. Once again, he was prevented. 2face and Timaya later stepped in to settle the rift. Witnesses claim the fight was settled, but we can never know..

"I Can Now Have Sex With My Husband After Losing 96kg"

A morbidly obese woman who tipped the scales at 243kg and was too fat to have sex with her husband has slept with him for the first time - after losing 95kg.

Brittani Fulfer says she started gorging on food as a coping mechanism after she was sexually abused by a family member from the age of five.

When she married her husband, Bill, she was 177kg but soon ballooned to 243kg.

The 32-year-old says she was so ashamed of her flab that she wouldn't let him see her naked, meaning sex was totally out of the question.

However, after being fitted with a gastric band, she has lost a hefty 15st in one year - and finally consummated her marriage.

Before her surgery, she said: "My husband doesn't see me undress most of the time.

"I don't walk around naked because I am afraid that he will be absolutely disgusted if he sees me and that he will never look at me the same way again.

"So, I hide and do nothing all day."

At 19, Brittani, who suffers from a disease that attacks the thyroid, was suffered a devastating blow when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

Subsequently, she said she gorged on food even more.

Opening up about how her constant eating left her in pain, she said: "I think about food non-stop from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to bed.

"I know that's not normal, but I can't remember a time when food wasn't the most important thing to me.

"Most the time I'm like, 'Maybe it'd be better if I don't wake up' because every day, I look at myself in the mirror and I'm like: 'what did you do to yourself?'

"A human body should not look the way my body looks. It is the most disgusting thing in the world.

"I am so big that I am almost to the point where I can't even take care of myself."

Brittani, from Tualatin, Oregon, told how washing presented the "most exhausting" challenge, revealing she would feel like she "stinks" even after showering. 

However, she said she felt guilty about her gastric band surgery, revealing "food was my best friend and I feel like I've lost someone close to me".

With counselling, Brittani managed to stick to her diet plan and lost an incredible 15st in 12 months.

And she believes it has saved her marriage.

Speaking after her op, she said: "We're closer together and now, intimate like man and wife, instead of just roommates. We're like a newly married couple!"
