Why early morning sex is beneficial to health"- Nigerian Proffesor

A professor of Biochemistry as enumerated the amazing health benefits of having sex first thing in the morning.

Prof. Musa Yakubu of University of Ilorin has said having sex in the early morning lowers blood pressure and reduces risks of heart attack.

Yakubu of the Department of Biochemistry made the assertion in a paper, "Knocking Down the Barriers to Four O'Clock Activities and Reproductive Inadequacies", presented at the 163rd Inaugural lecture of the university on Friday.

He said that having sexual intercourse, three to four times a week, was good for love life.He said

    "Research has shown that sex boosts immune system by stimulating the body's first line of defence and production of immunoglobulin A (IgA), against cold and fever," he said.

Immunoglobulin A is one of the most common antibodies in the body system.Antibodies are proteins made by the immune system to fight bacteria, viruses, and toxins.

Sex, according to Yakubu also regulates menstruation in women by influencing the levels of lutenizing hormones that control menstrual period and promote better sleep.

He said sex also releases the feel-good chemical, known as oxytocin, which enhances closeness with one's partner and makes people feel happier for a longer period of time.

    "Lovemaking of about 20 minutes reduces 150 calories," he said.

The professor of Biochemistry postulated that sex is the most powerful creative force given to human by God for pleasure and deep companionship.

Yakubu, however, noted that any marriage in which the man or woman could not enjoy sexual intercourse or satisfy their partner in bed was a dead marriage. He said lack of sexual satisfaction had led to the collapse of many marriages in Nigeria, and urged couples to seek for solutions to the problem.

    "Sexual and reproductive dysfunctions are common among men and women in Nigeria, which necessitates regular screening and check-ups," he said.

WHAT!! Son murders his parents, then slaughters 17 neighbours to cover up his crime

A man has killed his parents in row over money and then slaughtered 17 villagers, including a three-year-old girl - to cover up his horrific crime.

Yang Qingpei, 27, confessed to murdering his parents after returning to his hometown Yema in China's Yunnan Province to ask for more money, reports say.

He then went on a mass killing spree and claimed the lives of 17 villagers, including four children and one 72-year-old neighbour.

Reports claim Yang killed the villagers in an attempt to prevent them finding out after his parents' murders and informing police.

The victims, 11 men and eight women, were members of six families, Xinhua news agency reported.
Their bodies were found on Thursday at different locations in the village, according to a state-backed news website.

Yang, who was born in 1989, was arrested in the provincial capital of Kunming, around 200km away from where the bodies were found.

His arrest came after 33 hours of 'arduous investigation', a statement on the official social media account of the Yunnan police showed.

A list with the victims' names circulating online showed four names were minors under the age of 18.

Yunnan officers have verified the list and the news release, Beijing News reported, adding that the police have said there was no link to terrorism.

42-year-old Man murders wife for converting to Christianity(Photos)

A 42-year-old man identified as Amir Darbanou has reportedly murdered his 35-year-old wife, Nasrin Abek, for converting to Christianity in Sydney, Australia.

The suspect and his wife were originally from Iran but had been living in Australia for the past four years, the Sydney Morning Herald is reporting.

Reports say the suspect, who had been growing increasingly angry with his wife, a hairdresser, and believed she had been unfaithful religiously, stabbed her multiple times with a knife, inside their Potts Point unit apartment in St Neot Avenue on Wednesday.

Her body was however discovered at about 6:20 am on Thursday by the police after her father reportedly alerted the police.

According to the deceased's father, he received a 'disturbing' phone call from his son-in-law, Darbanou on Wednesday telling him his daughter was dead and on Thursday morning, police visited the scene where they found Abek's body with multiple stab wounds.

The father said he had earlier raised concerns to the police about his daughter's welfare in her husband's house, following her conversion, before the unfortunate incident leading to her violent death.

According to the report, there was no previous history of domestic violence between the couple, until that night when some claimed to have heard a piercing scream around the time she may have been murdered.

Meanwhile, the suspect appeared before Central Local Court on Friday, facing a one-count of murder.

A Kings Cross Police Superintendent, Michael Fitzgerald, was quoted to have said police had recovered what was possibly the weapon used to kill Ms. Abek from the tip where the rubbish from the unit block was dumped.killer3

Fitzgerald said, "We are not looking at any other suspects in this matter. It is alleged that the son-in-law told [the father] certain things which brought the concern from the father to speak with police today.

"There was no known history of domestic violence between the pair. Any incident of violence, let alone domestic violence, is tragic and we ask anyone if they've got any information about any loved one or any friend who may be involved in any domestic incident to come forward, to contact us, because we need to know," the police Superintendent stated.

The magistrate, Les Mabbott, reportedly adjourned the case till November 24.

PAINFUL!! Mr Ibu Explains How LUTH contributed in the Death Of His 2Yr Old Son

John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu has cut a niche for himself in the movie industry, notably for being a comedic actor, but in an interview with Punch, he has revealed that despite his commitment to making people to laugh, he has had cause to be unhappy, even bitter, on some occasions.

According to Okafor, negligence on the part of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) had a role to play in the 2011 death of his 2 year old son who had just been released from kidnappers. He was so bitter that he almost instituted a court action against the management of the hospital.

"The matter was actually between the Paediatric Department of the hospital and me. It was in 2011. My wife and our two-year-old son had been kidnapped. After I paid the ransom demanded and they were released by the kidnappers, I returned to Lagos from Enugu.

"Then on January 18, 2011, my son fell ill.  He was diagnosed with inflammation of the liver. The hospital suggested that he should be scanned. At the same time, I was informed that I could take my son out of the hospital to get the scan done elsewhere. But the same people later declined, saying that everything had to be done in the hospital because he was too weak to be taken outside.

"After a while, I was told that there was no electricity in the hospital. When I asked if there was no standby generator, they said there was no fuel in it. I offered to pay for fuel only to be told that the man that operated the generator was not around. When I left the place and got back later, the man still had not returned. Then I was advised to write an application and to submit to the admin department."

After writing the application, Okafor found that there was nobody to receive and treat it. While he was waiting, he was told that his son's condition required blood transfusion. The actor did everything possible to ensure that the ailing boy was given treatment at the hospital, but his efforts were in vain. Finally, the little boy gave up the ghost.

"That was how my son died. Later, one of the doctors came to me and, without even sympathising with me, asked if I could release my boy's corpse to him so that they could cut it open and use it to teach other medical students. In that moment, I felt like committing murder for the first time in my life.

"When I told my lawyer what happened at the hospital, he was shocked. He said it was actionable. I told him that I was ready to take the hospital management to court and sue it for $100 million in damages because my son's death was caused by the carelessness of the professionals whose duty was to save his life. But my lawyer advised me to let go".

Dabma sickle cell foundation was registered as an N.G.O on February 10, 2011 in memory of Miss Chidinma Dickson, an undergraduate student of economics at BELLS University, Sango Otta in Ogun State, who succumbed to the complications of sickle cell disorder in 2010.

Though she is no longer here, we are keeping her vision and commitment alive. Her vision was to save generations from sickle cell disorder that is afflicting the Nigerian society. Dabma has undertaken several programs on sickle cell awareness in the area of public enlightenment education to schools also called "ASSSEND" (Annual sickle cell secondary schools sensitization debate), with the grand finale last June when we marked the World Sickle Cell day with a focus on raising a new generation of children without the disorder or genetic disfavors to compete with others and striving to become responsible and healthy citizens and leaders in future. We have also written several books, held sensitization seminars and conferences, conducted many genotype tests for the public, among others, being supported/sponsored by various organizations.

Sickle cell disorder is a BURDEN to our nation and the Foundation has devised far reaching and impactful strategies to combat the menace. A serious attempt must be made to reverse the situation in which Nigeria accounts for 75% of all sickle cell births in Africa. According to WHO report, Nigeria has full blown 150,000 sickle cell disease births yearly and one of the states alone accounts for 7,000 sickle cell births and the figure keeps increasing annually.

It also involves sickle cell N.G.O's and their members in a seeded match playing against each other, creating fun for those living with the disorder through indoor sporting activities and music via console.
