T.I. On Snoop Dogg's Apology To Iggy Azalea: “I Didn’t Make Snoop Do Anything,”

T.I. reveals details of the conversation he had with Snoop Dogg following his social media attack of Iggy Azalea.

T.I. is becoming known as much for diffusing tense situations as he is for his musical output. Tip has done everything from talk down a jumper, to making peace between Rick Ross and Jeezy over the last couple of years, but his most recent crusade was on behalf of his friend collaborator, Iggy Azalea.

Snoop Dogg launched what seemed to be a random attack on Iggy Azalea on his Instagram last week. When she responded to the tasteless image The Doggfather posted of her, he proceeded to accelerate his social media assault, eventually making threats and misogynistic remarks.

Later on, he posted a video apologizing for his behavior, explaining that he and T.I. had worked things out, but so far, that's the only side of the story we've heard. In a new MTV interview, T.I. opened up about what was said in his phone conversation with Snoop.

"I stepped in when it became a public topic of discussion," the Paperwork rapper said of his choice to intervene. "When it stopped being between two people and it was being observed by the world, and it was almost like people were tuning in just to see what was happening next."

T.I. revealed that the conversation was very rational, due to the mutual respect between himself and Snoop. "Me and Snoop have a long-standing personal and professional relationship," he said. "I have a huge amount of admiration, love and respect for him and for what he's done for the game — for people like me to be able to do what we do — and when I called him it was a very, very, very cordial, respectful [conversation]."

Apparently, Tip's choice to reach out was enough to get Snoop to see the error in his ways. "He immediately said he knew what I was calling about and just assured me [that it was] nothing to even worry about. It's over with. And we started talking about something else immediately," he said, making it clear that the rapper apologized of his own accord. "I didn't make Snoop do anything."

Lionel Richie Finally Addresses Khloé Kardashian Rumors , Is He Her Father?

Reports have been swirling lately with rumors that Khloé Kardashian's real father is not Robert Kardashian, but rather Lionel Richie.
The news, which began from In Touch magazine, surfaced last week and alleges that Kris Jenner had an affair with the singer in the 80s, commenting that his youngest daughter Sofia is the "spitting image" of Khloé.

Now, for the first time since the rumors hit, Richie is addressing the situation.

When asked whether or not the rumors are true, he laughed it off.
"No! Of course not," he said.  "But you know what, they are my kids.  I mean, they grew up in my house."

Then he swift added, "But no I'm not the dad."

Controversy surrounding Khloé's "real dad" have been in the media since the reality star first talked about her doubts about her biological parents on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, threatening Kris Jenner she she was going to get a paternity test.
However, she never went through with it, and thus the rumor mill continues to spin!

R.I.P: Legendary Fashion Designer OSCAR DE LA RENTA dies At 82 (Photos)

This is a celebration of life , in a generation where the average life span is estimated between 40 to 50years for Men and 40 to 55 for women

Oscar de la Renta is one of the most sought-after fashion designers of the last half century, dressing American first ladies and Hollywood stars in his classic silhouettes, died on Monday at the age of 82.

An individual taking calls at the designer's residence in Connecticut on Monday night confirmed his death, first reported by ABC News. The New York Times said de la Renta died of complications from cancer.

De la Renta was born to a prominent family in the Dominican Republic and went to Spain to study art, but was drawn to fashion and started working alongside Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga.

He made his name in the 1960s dressing one of the major fashion icons of the day, first lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and established his company in New York in 1965.

De la Renta was known as one of the industry's classic creators, famous for elegantly feminine designs marked by flattering silhouettes with full skirts and cinched waists, often rendered in soft hues and floral patterns.

Most recently, de la Renta made the wedding dress for human rights lawyer Amal Clooney for her marriage in Venice, Italy, last month to Hollywood actor and director George Clooney.

"George and I wanted a wedding that was romantic and elegant, and I can't imagine anyone more able than Oscar to capture this mood in a dress," Amal Clooney told Vogue magazine.

The slim de la Renta cut an elegant figure himself in the New York fashion world, where he was a favorite of Vogue magazine's powerful editor, Anna Wintour, and fashion-savvy actresses like Sarah Jessica Parker.

"So sad for the loss of this legend. Oscar de la Renta, thank you for all the beauty and inspiration you shared with us," tweeted Nina Garcia, the Marie Claire creative director and judge on TV's fashion designer competition "Project Runway".

De la Renta's classic looks were popular on Hollywood's red carpets and particularly well-suited to the tastes of the first ladies at the White House, most of whom were repeat clients.

"My daughters and I have many fond memories of visits with Oscar, who designed our favorite clothes, including Jenna's wedding dress," Laura Bush, wife of former President George W. Bush, said in a statement. "We will always remember him as the man who made women look and feel beautiful."

Earlier this month, de la Renta appointed Nina Ricci's artistic director, Peter Copping, as creative director of his company, a new position that he was to assume in early November, working closely with de la Renta.

"Our industry has not always done the best job when it comes to changes in design leadership," de la Renta said in a statement on Copping's appointment. "My hope is that, in leading this selection, and actively participating in the transition, I can ensure the right design future for our company and brand."

Beyond its signature ready-to-wear women's collection, the company grew into a major luxury goods purveyor with lines of shoes, handbags, jewelry, home decor and fragrance.

De la Renta is survived by his wife, Annette.

Exposito!! Ex-Governor Of Ekiti State Bought N50m Mattresses For His Wife’s Bedrooms (Photo)

Well later some people will say there is no money in this country, like really? Where is all these money coming from?

The issue of corrupt leaders, money laundry and extravagant lavish of money on materials are issues not new to the average Nigerian , these days it is as if corruption in High places is now a tradition and way for of life for people in this part of the world....

The newly elected Governor of Ekiti state, Governor Ayo Fayose has exposed some of the
things his eyes have seen in the newly built government house.

According to him, in a statement by his Special Assistant Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the new government house was an act of insensitivity to the plight of Ekiti State people, many of whom cannot afford to feed once in a day. PREMIUM TIMES reports that the affluence the immediate past governor lived in while he was still the governor can be said to be alarming.

"When we visited the Government House for the first time yesterday, I was like: how I wish I can sell off this place or turn it to commercial use."It is simply wicked for a governor to be more interested in this manner of ostentatious comfort at the expense of the people."The bed on which Fayemi slept before he left government alone costs over N30 million!

"That of his wife costs over N20 million! "Between Fayemi and his wife, what was spent on their bedrooms, toilets and bathrooms will be in the region of N100 million.

"How can a responsible government use borrowed fund to provide this kind of luxury for the governor and his family alone in a state where a lot of people cannot afford to feed once in a day?

"People should ask the outgone governor what was really wrong with the abandoned governor's lodge used by his (Fayemi) predecessors?, the governor quizzed.

Above is one of the photos of the N50m beds. Well yea it is really beautiful , but is it a right and utilitarian use of national fund?

So SAD :According To FG 33 Million Nigerians Still Practice Open Defecation (Toilet No Dey)

This is really sad for a country that is blesses with natural resources like Nigeria , Nigeria is suppose to belong to the league of developed countries because we make enough annual income from exportation of Oil alone to change the well being of people in the country , it is so sad that we are still among the underdeveloped or developing countries in the world

The Director, Water Quality Control and Sanitation, Mr. Samuel Ome, in an interview with the news Agency of Nigeria in Abuja, stated that it was sad that open defecation was still a big challenge in the country.

He said many urban settlements lacked hygiene facilities, resulting in open defecation, which posed a threat to life as faeces are washed into drinking water sources.

According to him, basic access to sanitation in Nigeria still stands at 41 per cent coverage.

Ome, who is also the Chairman, National Task Group on Sanitation, stressed the need for attitudinal change to reduce water-borne diseases.

He said it was important that Nigerians cultivate clean habits, pointing out that good hygiene, often termed as 'a personal thing,' should reflect in the life of Nigerians.

"Sanitation starts with the individual; those things you do involuntarily become your attitude. You wake up in the morning, you use the toilet, you flush the toilet, you brush your teeth, you wash your body before going to work; nobody prompts you to do it, you do it voluntarily.

"In a sense, sanitation is personal; those personal things you do and the attitude you cultivate to improve your cleanliness, sanitation starts from the family point.

"The garbage you bring out must be disposed of properly. Sanitation has a huge role to play in the family, community and to the nation," Ome said.

He said government was doing a lot to improve access to sanitation.

Ome said water was important in the development of a nation as water is life.

He said 70 per cent of ailments were water related, including cholera which affects people living in unhygienic environments or those who consume bad water.

Ome called on Nigerians to also cultivate the habit of hand washing to reduce unnecessary deaths from water-borne diseases.

He said, "As you go on your daily activities, before you eat your food, after shaking hands, you can wash your hands up to four times in the office to improve your hygiene and to minimise the transmission of diseases.

"Washing your hands with soap or ashes in running water helps to break the transmission of water-borne diseases. What we are advocating is that if we can do it for Ebola, we can do it for cholera and others."
