Turkish Airlines cabin manager dies of malaria after flight to Nigeria

 
A Turkish Airlines (THY) cabin crew chief, Selda Durmaz, died early Saturday of malaria after returning from a flight to Lagos, Nigeria. She was initially 

diagnosed with flu when she went to a hospital after her return to İstanbul due to a high fever. She sought another examination at THY's medical unit as the symptoms persisted. She was then diagnosed with malaria and later admitted into a private hospital in Bahçelievler district. She was receiving treatment at the hospital's intensive care unit but died at 1:30 a.m. early on Saturday.

Breaking News: The Former Governor Of Kogi State 'Afarkirya' Is Dead (details)

This just came in and it is a sad one,
 
He died Monday at an Abuja hospital after a brief illness. He was aged 66.
The late Afakirya, who was Military Administrator of Kogi State from August 1996 to August 1998, was born in Lassa, Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.


The Governor of Kogi State Capt. Idris Wada has commiserated with the immediate family of former MILAD, describing his death as a loss to the entire country.
In a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy Mr Jacob Edi, the Governor extolled the virtues of the late administrator, noting that during his services in the state, he left indelible legacies, including two housing estates and water schemes that are still in use in the Confluence State.


The statement added that the good people of Kogi State mourn with friends and family of the former administrator and pray that God should grant his soul a peaceful repos and to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

A man crowned the ugliest man in Uganda has become a dad for the EIGHTH time. Godfrey Baguma, known as Sebabi - which means 'ugliest of them all' - suffers from a rare medical condition giving him his distinctive looks.

The 47-year-old married his second wife Kate Namanda, 30, in 2013.

Since then the couple have had six kids - two of Sebabi's nippers come from his first marriage which
broke up some years ago.

Speaking to KFM, he said:
"I caught her cheating with another man and I assured her our relationship was over. She liked me because of my money, but people kept telling her that she could do better, so she started eloping with another man."
Sebabi then met Namanda, who was 18 at the time, through his aunt who played go between. He said:
"I stayed with her four years before her people knew where she was. I didn't want them to see me until we had a child because they would definitely advise her to leave me. She left me when she was six months pregnant but I think she later accepted her fate because she came back two months later. 
I told her that I didn't choose to look the way I do and that if she feels I am a burden, she is free to live me.


But she chose to stay and in 2013 they held a wedding ceremony that put his hometown Kyazanga, in the Lwengo District of Uganda, at a standstill. Guests at the wedding had to pay 4,000 Ugandan shillings (about 70p) to attend the reception and see the woman Sebabi married, MirrorUK reports.

Sebabi is a former cobbler who now uses his unique features to earn a living. He appears at events as Uganda's Ugliest Man just for people to see him, but he took it a step further by launching a singing career.

He says he doesn't want to go on stage for people to just stare at him.

Well the Controversial singer Maheeda who earlier in the week revealed that she was raped by her step-father at 11 and abandoned by her real father comes out now to say that she is ready to reveal everything about everything.

The only thing holding her back now it seems, is the fact that she doesn't know how to let us know about her struggles.



The singer took to her Instagram this morning to post the picture posted above with the caption :

"Oh my naija, I've Been through a lot! And I'm still standing, How can I tell you my story, where will I even start from I really wish for you to hear my story but how? You hardly read books , learning from other people's mistake or success stories is not your thing, this is hopeless Nigeria, how can I tell you my experiences?  I don't wanna go to the grave with them ! I only have only another 80 years to live is there still time? "
