For the past couple months, Lil Wayne has been touring nightclubs all across the country in support of his Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape. Rolling into Anaheim, California on Tuesday night (June 16), Weezy took the stage to perform at the Heat Ultra Lounge OC where he made a very special announcement in the process.
Following his performance of "We Be Steady Mobbin", Weezy went on to announce that his highly anticipated Free Weezy Album will be dropping on July 4th. While details on the album still remain a secret, all signs are pointing that it's going to be a Tidal exclusive, especially after Wayne just became an artist-owner of the company a couple weeks back and released the track, "Glory," through it.
The Free Weezy Album will serve as Wayne's first album since 2013's I Am Not A Human Being 2.
