MUST READ ARTICLE: FOREVER YOUNG By Raymond Ojeogwu.

Today, I made a phone-call to my mum just to check on her well-being, after the necessary greetings and exchange of pleasantries, she told me that my twin sisters recently started working as teachers for a local school down the street, she said it was just something to keep them busy before they resume their first year and full-time entry into the university. After i ended the phone conversation,

there was this sudden rush of unexplainable emotions, because i realized that time and age had caught up so fast with my little sisters, my mind then travelled back in time to when we were just kids.
I am 4years older than my sisters and as an older brother i literally watched them grow. Back then when I was much younger, i assisted my mum in bathing them and feeding them when they were just babies, i then remembered when they were toddlers, always playing roughly or getting into trouble and fighting with each other and i would always come as a mediator trying to separate them,
because i actually preferred them quarrelling than fighting. It was quite amusing for them because they were ignorant of their actions, because they were just kids.
Then I remembered when they were teens, they really had a flare for acting, they would construct houses in the living room with just blankets and rubber chairs, making it look more like a tent than a house, afterwards they would start acting playful dramatic roles with their girlie dollies and teddies, I sometimes act as their driver, driving them with the living room table which was pictured as an imaginary car or bus, or sometimes I act as their horsey transporting them to wherever they wanted within the house. When they play roles like "mother" or "aunty" they would tie scarfs and shawls around their heads to make their little hair look longer, and they would create with paper; mobile phones, watches, bracelets and necklaces, which are ingredient to make their individual dramatic roles look realistic and interesting, it was all fun and games back then.
After cruising down memory-lane it immediately dawn on me that i and my sisters would never have fun of that kind till death inevitably arrives. Being a child is an experience that cannot be repeated even when one is an adult, if an adult behaves like a child literally, that adult might be dragged to the psychiatrist institute for mental check-up and therapy.

I personally miss those childhood days, it is livelier than being a grown-up, being a child is purified with youthful spirit and freedom, knowing that you are not weighed down with all sort of responsibilities. Growing-up has too much struggle and responsibilities associated with it, grown-ups always competes for the chance or opportunity to prove what they are originally not to the world, which leads to the spore to make quick wealth and riches, or trying so hard to achieve fame and power in order to be respected socially and globally, these are major concerns of grown-ups.
At the end of it all, you will find that everything that concerns growing-up clouds that youthful atmosphere to enjoy and play with the little happiness and joy life have to offer, grown-ups neglect this youthful happiness and see life as a struggle were only the strong and hard-working can survive.
I am not neglecting the fact that a child physically and mentally grow-up to be an adult, it is a natural law, but looking at childhood and adulthood, childhood is the actual state were both the essence of every man and his soul experiences true happiness because at this point he is blinded to the struggles and difficulties of reality (life), furthermore, a child cannot be held responsible or faulted for not knowing what is good or evil, even though that child is subject to correction.
Adulthood on the other hand is a state were man is now fully opened to these struggles and difficulties of reality which are acquainted with satisfying fleshly desires and pleasures that enables man survival (e.g. the struggle for comfort and shelter) therefore, man's happiness is shortened and lessened like a deflated ball, because at this state man's only aim and focus is to overcome these struggles and difficulties by working rigorously hard to battle and achieve them.
At this state again, man can now be held fully responsible for every actions he takes either good or bad.
