The National Labor Congress, NLC and the Trade Union Congress, TUC have been breathing fire out of their mouths since the Federal Government announced the removal of the subsidy on petrol.
The unions had announced that a nationwide strike action would be carried out on Wednesday, May 18 to protest against the seeming insensitivity of the government to the condition of the masses in removing subsidy if the government does not come to the round table on Tuesday, May 17.
On Saturday, May 14, NLC president, Ayuba Wabba said to journalists: "Nigerians are advised to stock sufficient food items that will last for a while, for the prosecution of the current struggle against neo-liberal agenda in the country."
