Manchester City's Yaya Toure has been named as the BBC African Footballer of the Year on the back of a glorious year for his country, Ivory Coast. BBC Africa confirmed the 32-year-old had triumphed for the second successive year, becoming only the third player in history to win the award twice after Nigeria's Jay-Jay Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu.
