There is a saying that laws was made to control the poor, I think this is an example of one those situations.
EFCC has secured the conviction of Egbeniyi Oluwafemi ( a.k.a Raymond Morrison, Mavis Mar and Markus Fred ).
He was sentenced to two years imprisonment by Justice A.M Liman of the Federal High Court, Benin, Edo State. He was first arraigned on February 5, 2013 for offences bordering on internet scam and obtaining money by false pretense to the tune of €200 ( N43.5k ) from one Rita, a German citizen.
He was pronounced guilty on counts 1 and 3 of the 3-count charge and sentenced to one year imprisonment each on both counts.
Is this justice? Smh.
