The 2016 GRAMMYs nominations were announced yesterday. Kendrick Lamar reigned supreme with 11 noms. Despite Drake's success this year, he garnered four noms, with his smash hit "Hotline Bling" coming up empty-handed. According to Hits Daily Double, the record was not submitted for nomination due to a clerical error in the office of Cash Money Records.
There was speculation that "Hotline Bling" was snubbed because it wasn't the internet monster it would become at the time of the nomination deadline, September 30. But as it turns out, the nomination form never made it out of Cash Money offices.
Odds it was deliberate sabotage by Birdman?
