19-year-old Bola Tinubu Impersonator gets N300,000 bail

A 19-year-old student accused of defrauding several people using a fake Facebook account in the name of Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pleaded not guilty in court.

Emmanuel Eto, a 19-year-old National Diploma (ND) II student of the Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara, was arraigned on Monday on a three count-charge of impersonation, conspiracy and cyber fraud at an Ikeja Magistrate's' Court.

The Prosecutor, Insp.Edet Okoi, told the court that the accused had between April and May created a Facebook account in the name of Tinubu, a former Lagos governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).




He allegedly used the account to defraud unsuspecting individual who he lured to apply for job opportunities through the Facebook page," Okoi said.

"He fraudulently obtained the sum of N26, 850 as processing fees from each of the individuals that subscribed. "Eto lured the public to believe that he had the powers to get employment for all who subscribed.
Eto pleaded not-guilty to all the charges.
Magistrate Dan-Oni granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till the 7th of July.

It will be recalled that the student had in May written a confessional statement in which he claimed he was pushed into the crime by financial constraints caused by his mother's illness.
"I did what I did because my father is late and my mother has been sick for a long while," he had said.

The Central Bank of Nigeria has extended the deadline for Bank Verification Number (BVN) registration, which is ongoing across the country, the News Agency of Nigeria is reporting.

The bank had earlier fixed Tuesday, June 30, as deadline for the exercise, warning that defaulters may not be able to access to their accounts from July 1.


As the deadline approached, millions of customers spent hours on long queues at banks across the country, struggling to have their data captured.


The CBN said on Tuesday that the exercise will now end on October 31, 2015, according to NAN.

Prophet TB Joshua reacts To Newly Legalized Gay law in USA

     Various reactions have come in the wake of America formally legalising gay marriage across the entirety of its borders but one of the most unusual has sprung from a popular Nigerian cleric.

After the historic announcement, T.B. Joshua tweeted a YouTube video showing a young man allegedly receiving 'deliverance' from a 'homosexual demon'.

The clip titled, 'Deliverance From Homosexual Demon' shows a Nigerian from Imo State who identified himself as 'Tedus' receiving prayer at the church of T.B. Joshua in Lagos, Nigeria.
"I made him gay; I made him love men," the young man says after being questioned by one of Joshua's ministers, the clip clarifying that it was an 'evil spirit' speaking, which was allegedly behind his homosexual tendencies. Tedus is subsequently 'delivered' and later shares his experiences about how the 'devil' of homosexuality had possessed him.

He narrated how, upon his return from a business trip in Asia, he had lodged in a hotel in Kenya where he met some male friends who suggested they go for a swim in the hotel pool. "After swimming, I went back to my room and had a dream," Tedus recounted. "I dreamt where I saw myself swimming in the same pool with naked men.

When I woke up, I felt as if something entered into me. I started having passion for men." Upon returning to Cameroon where he was based, Tedus 'sacked' his fiancé without any explanation. "I had no passion for her anymore – no more affection. She was astonished and asked so many questions which I couldn't abswered. On the internet, I discovered so many things on gay websites and began downloading gay pornography. That's how it started."

According to Tedus, he saw his newfound homosexual lifestyle as 'normal' until his pastor in the church where he worked as a translator called him aside privately. "He told me that I had to go to Nigeria to The SCOAN and that I needed deliverance." Tedus reluctantly agreed. After making the journey in December 2013, when the time arrived for people to receive prayer in the church service, he described a sense of anger welling within him as one of Joshua's pastors approached. "When he prayed for me, I lost control," he described.

"I knew I was talking but I never knew what I was saying." Since receiving prayer, Tedus testified that all homosexual feelings have left him. "Those feelings for men are no longer there; I have real passion for the opposite sex. I couldn't control the former passion." The clip then jumps to almost one year later where Tedus returns, this time with a young lady whom he introduced as his fiancé. "The Bible says that a man ought to be with a woman.

After my deliverance, I travelled to Imo State and there I met this wonderful lady and proposed to her," he said, with a large smile, testifying that is life has changed 'tremendously' since receiving prayer. "My advice is that if you come across somebody that may be having the same problem, you shouldn't criticise them but rather pray for them," he said. "People just believe it's a normal thing; it's not just ordinary. There is a force or spirit behind it. The only way out of this is deliverance. It is like a virus. Once it gets into you, it is only deliverance from Jesus Christ that can get you out of it." In his comments, T.B. Joshua quoted Matthew 7:1, stating that Christians should 'talk salvation, not condemnation'. "God hates sin, not sinners," he insisted.

"When I say, 'Do not judge so that you will not be judged', I mean we should hate sin, not the sinner because sinners can change. If you have killed a sinner by judging him, there will be no opportunity for change. Sinners can be delivered. We should hate the act, not the people because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the 'spirit beings' that cause all these acts."

Aregbesola Begins Payment Of Osun Workers’ Salaries

Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, is now keeping his promise of paying state workers before the 30th of June.

Workers in Osun State are now saying that they began to receive payment alerts starting on Friday June 26, 2015 in the afternoon.




If you live in Osun State and you've not gotten your own piece of the moi moi, don't worry. Governor Rauf Aregbesola is promising that you would get your payment early next week starting from Monday June 29, 2015.

Sources in the state have revealed that labour unions rejected the option by the government to pay them two to three months and return to their duty posts.

They insisted that workers should collect nothing less than five months worth of salary before they would call off the on-going strike.

 Jacob Adekomi, The State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), is said to have made the decision during a meeting with government officials in the state.

The government however made it clear that there is no way it could raise five months salaries at once presently, and that the payment would have to be gradual.

Thank God, at least people are getting their pay finally.

Some spend much time on movies acted by non- true christians(not born again), worldly actors and while they are watching them, Satan will show them immoral scenes and horror scenes, which will metamorphose to immoral and ungodly thought and dreams that will eventually lead to ungodly practice. Consider when you are watching a movie where an actor is exposing her breast, or any delicate part of the body or when you are surfing the net and visiting pornography sites; what do you expect in response? Lust of course! And from lust, it will generate to immoral practice like masturbation which will eventually break your spiritual man down and will take you some time to recover because you have allowed Satan into your spiritual territory. Some of these ungodly movies could have an adverse effect on the watcher's life because a lot of spirit transfer happens during the time these movies are being watched. Some even get initiated through what they watch.

If you look most a times, people watch a particular interesting movie or following a sport event or competition; after watching part 1, you will be very zealous to watch the part2 or to know what happen next, and as a result, will occupy your mind with it and could even dream about them. But if you had not yielded to it earlier, the thought of expecting the next action will not border you. If you occupy your mind with things or issues of spiritual concern e.g. being in a concentrated prayer camp, being in a holy environment, engaging in a spiritual discussion, listening to a spiritual sermon/song or watching a movie of spiritual benefit, you will hardly give a taught to immoral act.

Even if you are not in an environment favouring your spiritual growth, you can still keep yourself spiritually fit by not allowing yourself to be carried away by discussions like: football, sports, politics, fashion talk, entertainment and other spiritual environmental hazards. Matthew 12:43-45: When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
You don't need to allow your mind to be empty or to be occupied with issues that could attract demons or that will welcome demons easily.

Also, as the slogan goes: "a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian;" the inability to pray fervently will make one to be vulnerable and easily captured by demons, especially when you are not living a righteous life or when you have consented to temptation and evil conversation. We need to understand that through an effectual prayer of faith, many unknown darts from the enemy on us can be removed but when you are cold or when you are that type that don't see the need for an effectual prayer; you only believe in Jesus and His grace and then you do whatever that comes your way, that you are secured; you may be getting it wrong. The children of God of old took time to pray for more strength and amour to combat the darts of the devil. Also seek to be built with the immortal body and be equipped so that you can be in a better position to war spiritually against every opposition on your way to the Kingdom of God.

The first war is against your flesh, in thoughts and desire of a man.
Overcoming sin, world and flesh is on education to have knowledge of the Word of God to be a personal possession in you. Outside this is you in bondage of sin and struggle in the flesh.

But these people were pissed off. They were like, 'Okay, you think you are the only good girl in Nollywood? There is nothing like good girl in Nollywood. So, the evil rumour was the handiwork of jobless rumour mongers. I'm sure they are getting set to cook up more rumours to peddle against me, but I have a message for them: I am yet to unleash my innate abilities on the screen, which will make me to soar to a record height. And I will never back down just because of someone that is making money or gaining evil satisfaction from lies and cheap rumour.
