Danny Ings will reject a move to Liverpool at the end of the season - to sign for Manchester United instead, according to reports.
The Burnley striker is out of contract at the end of this campaign, and had been approached by Liverpool ahead of a summer move.
The Reds fought hard to sign the 22-year-old in January, but the Daily Star claims United have joined the race for his signature and Ings would prefer to sign for them instead.
Ings has impressed Old Trafford scouts this season and the club would not be put off by a £6million compensation fee, as he is predicted to be a future Premier League star.
Do you think Ings would play at United? Would he just be backup to Rooney and van Persie? Comment below
