Must see : A Mysterious Question And A Perfect Answer .....

So a Guy by the Nicholas Umoh asked these questions about the things that occurred in the garden of Eden on *Uniben Philosophy Students * page on facebook so I replied him and also felt I should share it here so people that might be pondering on the same issue can also be informed , the question and answer are below .... I have read genesis 3 over and over again and I am still searching for where it is written that it was the devil disguised as the serpent to tempt Eve, having in mind that in every other part of the Bible where the devil partook in any activity he was duly mentioned. My question now is that, is it that the serpent at that time could speak but was cursed by God to stop talking or is it that human beings could listen to animals when they speak in that time or finally did the serpent acts independently or under the influence of the devil.
And did you know that the serpent did not lie for God said in verse 22 "And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us [the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit], to know [how to distinguish between] good and evil and blessing and calamity; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever-- ". Why does He not want us to be like them.

well first of All To the O.P , The devil did not transform into the serpent actually it is the evil spirit of the devil that used the serpent as a means of deluding eve into commiting the original sin , and for the records ,the original sin is not **Eating of an Apple or any other fruit** as many shallow minded Christians and their leaders claim , it was actually the sin of fornication , it all a mystery but it explains a lot , how was this possible? before the serpent was cursed by God after the fall , it was not an animal that crawls on its stomach no!, the serpent was upright and among all animals that God created it was the serpent that was more human like both in nature and reasoning and it could talk because it was the creature that was meant to support and help man. so God made it more intelligible than every other creature (Closeness to man) , so it wasn't like it was a snake after the fall that can talk it was actually an upright or human look alike animal that could talk , and it was because of its closeness and rationality that the devil found it suitable as the object he could use to delude EVE , and what does the original sain explain? it explains the origin of evil and sin , the seperation of human nature , because the serpent had sex with eve and she gave birth to CAiN (serpent seed) and on the other hand Abel was Adams seed , Cain the first murderer could not offer God the right offering and that was why he killed abel , where did the thought of Evil come from? it can be traced back to the the devil ..... cause it was the devil that led the serpent into commiting the original sin , let me stop here ,
