NEHEMIAH APOSTOLIC RESOURCE CENTER ORGANIZES A SPECIAL EDITION OF THE SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS

The school of Government and politics conference which held yesterday , Thursday the 29th of November in Abuja Was organized by Nehemiah Apostolic Resource Center, .

Organizers of this school says its aim is to raise kingdom influencers at the government sphere.

Among the panelist were;

The meeting sparked  off a lot of insights about good governance,  the challenges of our country Nigeria, the path to take issues tht needed resolving.  

The Founder NEHEMAIAH Resource centre Apostle Obi Pax-Harry said the change that Nigeria needs is a now movement,  of everyone and a call to rise up.

One of the speakers Hon. Legor also stated the need for YOUTHS to start young to get into governance and leadership positions and that government needs to rise up to its call even as it has passed the not too young to run bill. 

Adaora Onyechere the only female on the panel and Ace-Broadcaster now politician, a candidate for Action Alliance for Imo house of assembly Okigwe Constituency stated emphatically that the Nigeria we look forward to depends on all of us,  that when we don't participate and leadership fails us, we have ourselves to blame because we are accomplices by sheer lack of participation.  The only way we can do it differently is to demand accountability of our leaders, Chido Onuma one of the speakers  also spoke on the unity of our nation the need to work on our coexistence . Like wise other members of the panel.

The School of Government and Politics is one of the key mandates of the NEHEMAIAH centre in Association with The TTC( The Thinking Circle),

Popular comedian IGoDye took to his Instagram page to write an open letter to the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. According to him, he is acting in his capacity as the ambassador a movement called Make a Difference Against Corruption Today (MADACT). 

The MADACT ambassador took to posing some questions to the number one citizen of the country. These questions revolved around embezzlement, poor medical amenities, unemployment, hunger and so on. 

In what was a constructive criticism, IGoDye hoped to prod the seat of the government in a societal redress that will be of benefit to the people of Nigeria.

Wonders shall never end they say, A man identified as God'stime Okon, has been arrested by the Police in Niger State for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl at By-Water Area, Lambata in the Gurara Local Government Area of the state.

The victim was allegedly lured by the suspect to his room where he forcefully had carnal knowledge of her while warning her against informing anyone.

It was learnt that the incident occurred sometime on July 17 this year.

 

Northern City News gathered on Sunday that Okon had engaged in rape of minors for many years before he was apprehended.

The suspect told our correspondent that he was attracted to underage girls, saying he found it difficult to exercise self-control.

The suspect said that he did not regard it as a criminal act until he found himself in police custody.

Okon however regretted his action and begged the girl's parents for forgiveness, promising to turn a new leaf.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, said the suspect had confessed to the crime during interrogation.
