Nigerian king of contemporary highlife Flavor has been gave a chieftaincy title in far away Liberia.

Season got the title of Chief Zanzan of the Grand County of Bassa, Republic of Liberia.

The chieftaincy title was given to Flavor as affirmed by the National Council of Chiefs and Elders of Liberia. The respect was done him for his commitments to Africa through his music and, the advancement and regard of African culture and conventions.

The "Ada" crooner shared the declaration of privilege and different photographs from the function on his instagram page.

Consequently, you can include the title of Chief Zanzan when tending to Flavor.

If you marry a wife through Facebook, you will lose her on YouTube -Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, today in his sermon at the Church's headquarters at Redemption Camp, told his members why they shouldn't marry girls from Facebook.

According to him, people who marry girls from Facebook, lose them on YouTube. This message was posted on the Church's official Twitter handle.

Nigerians are already calling out the Pastor and his church for this. Here are some reactions to the sermon;

The Pastor also dropped a controversial sermon last year, where he asked members not to marry women who can't cook and also can't pray for one hour. 

Bride's mother dies while on her way to her daughter's wedding reception in Ibadan

A day which was supposed to bring joy to a newly wedded couple, turned into a day of mourning, as the SUV conveying which was among the convoy conveying relatives of the couple, got involved in an accident, killing the mother of the bride.

It was gathered that the incident occurred yesterday, 1st April, 2017, at Academy Area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, while the relatives of the couple were on their way to the wedding reception. 

An eyewitness alleged that one of the victims who died on the spot, whose name was
given as Saidat Iya Kola, is the mother of the bride.

However, the identity of the second person who also died on the spot of the accident has not been revealed yet. 

In a telephone conversation with DAILY POST, Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State police command, Mr. Adekunle Ajisebutu said that he will find out to confirm the authenticity of the story.

Man Electrocuted After Falling Asleep While Charging His IPhone on His Bed

A charging iPhone could have been harmful to an Alabama man who was almost electrocuted as he fell asleep with his phone charging in bed, and it was all his fault.

According to the New York Post, Wiley Day suffered second and third-degree burns to his neck and hands.

Day said that the dog tags around his neck slipped between the charger and extension cord as he fell asleep. He said, "My necklace became the conductor. When I felt the electrocution here, it somehow, some way, jolted me over here to the floor." _____________________________________

Luckily he was able to rip the chains from his neck. He recalls the incident being one of the scariest days of his life.

A doctor said to WAAY TV, that Day was lucky to be alive after getting zapped with about 110 volts, especially since 100 volts have the potential to kill a person.

Ilasamaja Based Togolese Girl caught plotting to abduct Lagos businessman’s daughter (Photos)

The plan of a Togolese woman, Idowu Dado, and a Chadian, Abdullahi Mohammed, to start business ventures through proceeds of kidnapping has landed them in detention.The suspects were arrested by operatives of the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, while plotting to kidnap a 15-year-old girl in the Ilasamaja area of Lagos State.

PUNCH Metro learnt that 26-year-old Dado, who was married with two children, contacted Mohammed, 26, who worked in a sachet water factory owned by the girl's father, Mike Ogbuachara.

The duo then co-opted Ogbuachara's security guard, Peter Okechukwu, into the plot.

The gang reportedly planned to demand N10m as ransom for their victim.

However, Okechukwu was said to have leaked the secret to his boss, who then alerted the police.

The two suspects, who were arrested by detectives, were paraded before journalists at the Zone 2 Command headquarters, Onikan.

Okechukwu said Dado promised to give him N2m if the plan succeeded.

He said, "Dado came to meet me on March 8, 2017 and asked if I was close to my boss' daughter and I said yes. She said she had a business for me and asked if I was ready for it. She said she would come back the following day so we could discuss the business. "The following day, she said she wanted us to kidnap my boss' daughter. She said she planned to demand N10m as ransom and if my boss refused to pay the money, we would kill the girl and sell her body parts. "Because I was not comfortable with the idea, I went to tell my boss and he asked me to play along and videotape the discussion. "I went back to meet her and agreed to  the idea. When I asked what my share would be, she said she had a gang and we would be five. She said we would share the money N2m each. I told her to introduce me to other members. She said one of them was working with my boss in the factory. She didn't tell me his name. She promised to call me later so we could all meet in a hotel to perfect the plan." He explained that he continued to update his boss every time he spoke with Dado.  -
