GOBE: Man That Survived 15 Months Drifting At Sea Sued For $1M For Eating Colleague

I didn't see this coming,  just when I thought of him as a history maker

Reports have it that the castaway, Salvador Alvarenga, 36, who survived 15 months at sea by drinking urine and turtle blood has been sued for $1m for 'eating his colleague'.

The man who is being sued by the family of the colleague claimed that Alvarenga, ate crewmate Ezequiel Cordoba, 22, and want £650,000 from him.

Salvador Alvarenga, 36, paid Ezequiel Cordoba, 22, $50 to accompany him on a two-day fishing trip off the coast of Mexico in November 2012.

After a vicious storm pushed the boat out to sea, the pair survived by catching fish and birds, and drinking turtle blood and urine.

The boat landed on the Marshall Islands where he described how he ate birds and fish he managed to catch by hand.

Mr Cordoba eventually died after making Mr Alvarenga promise not to eat his corpse and to find his mother and tell her what happened. Alvarenga kept the rotting corpse on the boat for six days for company, until he realised he had lost his grip on reality and threw it overboard.

However, Mr Cordoba's family say they think he was a victim of cannibalism.

According to Metro.co.uk, Mr Alvarenga, who has just published a book about his ordeal, has insisted he did not eat his shipmate.

His lawyer Ricardo Cucalon, told El Salvador's El Diario de Hoy newspaper: 'I believe that this demand is part of the pressure from this family to divide the proceeds of royalties.

'Many believe the book is making my client a rich man, but what he will earn is much less than people think.

The first tutorial is How to take screenshot of the full computer screen (Windows)

Press prt sc keyboard, usually found around the upper right hand corner of your keyboard (For most keyboards)

OR Press Windows button + prt sc (For some keyboards)

OR Press fn + prt sc (For some keyboards)

OR Press ctrl + prt sc (For some keyboards)

And after that, open paint application and press ctr + V to paste and then press ctrl + S to save.

The second tutorial is How to take screenshot of part of the computer screen (Windows)

1. Got to Start or click on the windows key and type "Snipping tool", the open the application by double clicking or pressing the enter

2. Click on the New or click on the arrow beside the new which is used for selection the option you want for the screenshot

3. Clock and Drag your cursor to cover the part or area you want to take the screenshot

4. Then Click on the save button.

5 Texts That Kill Your Chances With a Girl

Some of us really don't know how to be fun and responsible at the same time yet we complain about not being able to get girls,  will just like pacman, there is a method of doing things successfully and for killing your chats with a lady,  these are 5 of them

1. Words like "Hi" / "Hey" / "What's up?"

Come on dude, yea it's OK to say hi, but if that's all you've got, you'll bore her. All you're saying is that you'd like to flirt, but you don't really know how, and you're expecting her to do all the work.

Boring.

If you really are out of ideas for what to text her, imagine that you already asked how she's doing, and she said: "I'm awesome! What's new and exciting with you?" Now start the conversation.

2. Sentences like "Are you there?" / "Are you ignoring me?" / "Umm, hello?"

You sound tasty, 
Don't be passive-aggressive or needy.

If she didn't answer your last text, pretend you never sent it. Wait one day, then text again. If you get crickets, wait two days, text again, and so on.

If she doesn't respond after a week or two, then her number has "gone cold." Wait a few weeks, then go with something out of left field. I like "I just met your twin," but there are a million others.

3. Using unnecessary Smiley happy unicorns!

I can't even take you serious when you do this,
Use a  sometimes, if it's really not clear whether you're joking. Too many, and you sound like a 12-year old girl.

Winks can make normal texts feel creepy. Many women will feel a difference between "let's hang out" vs. "let's hang out ;)" It's OK to be playful and/or sexual. Women often are more comfortable starting to be sexual through text rather than in person.  But be sexual on purpose, not because you accidentally used too many winks.

4. Chatspeak like  "C U L8R ROFLMAO"aii,.....

Well it used to be Cool but don't forget that
Chatspeak was invented when everyone had crappy phones that had to cycle through letters to get to the one you wanted.  You don't still use your crappy phone from 10 years ago, do you?  Then why text like you do?

A stray "u" instead of "you" shouldn't kill your chances, but you're not tweeting, so write normally. There's no girl in the world who'll think "I'm so attracted to this guy because he's so efficient with character length in text."

5. Nonsensical long ass texts "FJHRFHFGOHFOOIFJFOIWPSDLDKRV#BVBVOR#FI"

A long-ass text from a guy she doesn't know well just looks like gibberish to most women. She doesn't need to hear your life story spread over five texts.  She'll also wonder why you're trying so hard.

A long text that goes a bit over into a second message is fine.  But don't send anything longer than two texts, and only do that if she's writing you long ones back.

Terrence Jenkins announced yesterday that he'll be leaving the show after almost three years as co-anchor to focus on acting and producing full-time.He said Tuesday on E! News.

Arch's career started out with his father Glen sharing a few videos of him on the decks on Facebook and through social media he became an instant hit.

Arch has since entered SA's Got Talent and over the past month the young man walked away with the R500 000 prize money and products from Avon and Celltone worth R35 000.

Like always, the world will always question ones achievements and social media was quick to claim that Arch had cheated on the final episode of the show by saying that his audio cables were not connected to the mixing deck. In addition to that some people made accusations that he was playing a pre-recorded mix on the show.

Destiny magazine shares that e.TV publicist Michael Pocock has rubbished all the claims and assures audiences that Arch's talent is legitimate. "The photo that has been making the rounds on social media does not show the full technical setup of DJ Arch's performance, which took place at Soweto Theatre on the 8th of November 2015 in the finale of SA's Got Talent," he said also adding that the audio cables were connected via the laptop and not the controller.

"There were two laptops on the stage, which DJ Arch Jnr was consistently watching. The one laptop has the DJ software on it, which plays the songs, and the other laptop has a countdown system which cues DJ Arch Jnr. The controller in front of him has a black USB cable connected to the laptop, which is feeding into it," he says.

Extreme Measures: This Alcoholic chained himself up in room in attempt to Stop Drinking

Staying sober is a real struggle for alcoholics, and the protagonist of this sad story is no exception than 30-year-old Zhang Rui who had been trying to kick the habit for a while, but when all his attempts failed, both he and his family got desperate. After what must have been a serious intervention, he agreed to let his mother chain him by the neck in a room, to prevent him from buying or stealing booze.

Zhang, who is still locked in his attic room in Bengbu, east China, told reporters that he couldn't think of any other way to stop himself from harming others or drinking himself to death. Despite his poor living conditions, Zhang believes that confining himself is the only way to beat the addiction that has ruined his life. In fact, he wants to stay chained up and locked in there for at least six months, until he no longer feels the need to consume alcohol.

The tiny 10-square-meter space is sparsely furnished, with only a mattress for sleeping, a laptop and a small TV to keep him entertained. He doesn't even have a toilet – just a bucket and a large bottle of water to keep himself clean. The chain around his neck is four meters long and weighs about 22 lbs, so he can hardly stand up on his own in his current state. It allows him to walk around the room as exercise, but not much else.

ccording to the reporters who visited him, Zhang used to be a kind and gentle person working as a truck driver, however, all that changed six months ago when he started drinking. He turned so violent and abusive that he lost both his job and his wife and children. Things got so bad at one point that he begged for money on the streets just to be able to buy cheap rice wine. Once drunk, he reportedly had no controls over his actions.

When his family left him, Zhang was devastated, and the misery drove him to the extreme decision of home imprisonment. Quitting cold turkey has been torturous for him, so much so that he cries all the time and beats himself up with the chains. He becomes very irritable at times and tries to pick the lock or slide the chain off his neck. So far he has only managed to hurt himself even more.

Zhang hasn't had an easy life – he lost his father at an early age and he was brought up by his mother in poverty. it is believed that this rough upbringing eventually led him to alcohol addiction. 

Zhang's mother is obviously heartbroken with his current situation, but she doesn't plan on unlocking the chain until she is sure he has beaten alcohol addiction. She doesn't know how long he will stay locked up in the attic, but she is convinced it is the only way to get her old son back.

This has to be the most extreme case of self-imposed rehab since the guy who built a metal cage for his head in order to stop smoking.
