The kokoMaster and 'Fall In Love' Crooner is really getting busy lately , Just few weeks ago we reported that he bagged the endorsement deal of being Apple/Beats by Dre official Ambassador in Africa ,


 D'banj has now confirmed that he indeed has a deal with Apple which involves making a musical movie about his 10-year journey as a musician.



In a telephone interview with Beat FM presenters, Olisa Adinua and Maria,

D'banj who called in from Los Angeles said: 'Most people have the wrong impression that Dr Dre was the one that signed me, but the contract I have says 'APPLE' and to take it further, my management, DKM Media in conjunction with Apple is working on a musical movie. I'm going to act in the movie and play the role of D'banj.'

At the moment, D'banj is currently taking acting lessons in preparation for the role and when asked why he needed to take acting lessons since he was simply playing the role of D'banj in the movie, he said: 'Yes o, I'm currently taking acting lessons, initially, I didn't know I would need acting lessons to play myself in the movie but they want to make it very professional and very well done.

20yr Old Man Serve 20-year In Prison For Stealing iPod (Photo)

A 20-year-old Cobb County man was sentenced to 20 years, including 12 to serve in prison, for putting a boy in a headlock and stealing his iPod, the district attorney said Monday.

Shareef Tawwab Hakim, of Marietta, was convicted of robbery and aggravated assault, DA Vic Reynolds said.

The teenage victim was sitting outside his Bellmeade Drive apartment around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2013, when he was approached from behind by Hakim, according to investigators. Hakim put the boy in a headlock and took his iPod, the DA said.

Hakim was arrested in November and booked into the Cobb jail, where he has been held without bond, booking records showed. During his trial, he took the stand and admitted he took the iPod before being convicted Thursday in Cobb County Superior Court.

"He is violent, and this is all a joke to him," Assistant DA Jaret Usher told Judge Robert D. Leonard II. "His demeanor demonstrates that."

Leonard sentenced Hakim to a term of 20 years, with 12 years to serve in prison and the rest on probation, Reynolds said.

FG to Ban Commercial Motorcycles In Nigeria

The use of motorcycles as commercial means of transport in Nigeria, popularly known as 'Okada' or 'Achaba' may soon be banned throughout the country. Punch reports that the proposal for the ban was made by the National Council on Transport after its annual conference in Enugu State and endorsed by the Minister of Transport, Sen. Idris Umar.

A statement from the Federal Ministry of Transport on Saturday evening stated that the ban of commercial motorcycle was one of the measures proposed towards adequate provision of safety and
secure transportation in Nigeria. It said the recommendation was contained in a statement of the week long meeting which had in attendance all the state commissioners of transport, permanent secretaries, directors and officials in the federal and state ministries of transport across the country.

The council advised all states in the federation to henceforth discourage the use of commercial motorcycles as a means of public transportation.
"All states and the Federal Capital Territory have therefore been advised to establish a public transport system that ensure strict regulation of the operation of public passenger transportation system through a well-articulated management system for enhanced safety, security, effective and efficient service delivery," the statement said.


It added:
"The states are to also develop master plans for the development of intelligent transport system to facilitate the development and management of their transport operations in line with emerging trends and global best practices."


The statement noted that the council also agreed that all commercial vehicles should be properly registered in each state while their enumeration should be carried out periodically to enhance safety and security.

Compile the results and there is your hidden talent.

PanDemonium In School As 15yr Old Boy Opens Fire , 2 Dead And 4 Wounded (Photos)

Two students of the Marysville-Pilchuck High School are dead after one of them opened fire at the school cafeteria before turning the gun on himself.

The tweets are his last tweets before the shoot out 


An eyewitness, Jordan Luton told CNN he was finishing his lunch in the cafeteria at Washington state's Marysville-Pilchuck High School on Friday when he heard it -- a loud bang. Then there was another. And another. And another. And another.

What he saw was freshman Jaylen Fryberg go up to a table with students, "came up from behind ...
and fired about six bullets into the students' backs. They were his friends, so it wasn't just random."

Some of the students began to run. Luton and others hit the ground, some hiding under tables. Unfortunately, by the time it was over, two people -- the gunman and a female student -- were dead and four were wounded, according to authorities. Those wounded were all under the age of 18 and included two of Jaylen's cousins. They are now intensive care, an official says.
 


Jaylen, authorities said, would have wrecked more havoc but he was accosted by a teacher named Megan Silberberger while he was trying to reload his gun. The boy then pointed the gun at the teacher before turning it to himself and shooting himself dead. One week ago, Jaylen Fryberg stood tall as part of his high school's homecoming court, spurring his fellow students to cheer.
On Friday, he brought them to tears.

The gun used in the shooting, a "high capacity" weapon, has been traced to Fryberg's father.

More Trouble As Jay Sean Leaves Cash Money Records

Jay Sean is no longer apart of the Cash Money roster. The British pop singer announced today that he has officially left the label.

The split comes six years after Sean signed to the label, where he released two albums, 2009′s All or Nothing which featured the #1 hit "Down", and 2013′s Neon. The relationship did however end on good terms Sean told Billboard.

"I had and still maintain a great relationship with [Cash Money CEOs] Slim and Baby. They believed in me and my talent and our partnership obviously garnered a lot of pop success."

Jay Sean joins Busta Rhymes and Mystikal as artists who've left the label this year. In addition, their maybe another artist adding their name to that list in Tyga, who earlier this month vented frustrations with YMCMB.

Moving forward independently, Jay Sean is getting ready to release his new mixtape, Mistress II, in November. To coincide with this new announcement, Sean also premiered a music video today as well for his lead single "Tears in the Ocean",
