Founder Of #WorldStarHipHop Lee O'Denat Has Died At Age 43

The founder of WorldStarHipHop, Lee O'Denat AKA "Q" has died at age 43. He died in his sleep on Monday, Jan 23rd. According to TMZ who first reported the news, after he was found unresponsive, CPR was performed on him but he didn't respond to CPR, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

O'Denat was reportedly on the path to weight loss weeks before his death.

According to friends, "Q" had been trying to lose weight by going to the gym and working out rigorously in preparation for his new MTV reality show which was to premiere around March. The show revolved around 43-year-old Q, his website's crazy videos and celebrity guest appearances.

An autopsy which was done on Tuesday by the San Diego County Coroner, reveals he did die from a heart attack. The Autopsy results also list "obesity" as a contributing condition.

MMM NIGERIA Is The Most Googled Keyword In Nigeria (Stat)

According to Google, the sacking of Joseph Aiyedun, a pastor with the popular Nigerian church, Omega Fire Ministries, is trending on their site.

Google's Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa, Mr Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, said in a statement in Lagos that the pastor was sacked for registering with the controversial ponzi scheme, popularly known as MMM.He said that the development, according to Google Trends, topped searches from January 11 to January 18.

Kola-Ogunlade said that the scheme surprised many operators this year when it resumed its activities after freezing their accounts for a month.

He said that MMM on resumption of operations had said that it would give priorities to the poor in its Give Help payments, while the rich would have to wait for some time.

The Google spokesman also said that Nollywood star, Tontoh Dikeh, seeking for forgiveness from her colleague, Mercy Johnson, on social media was also top on Google search this week.

"To err is Tonto Dikeh, to forgive is Mercy Johnson,'' Kola-Ogunlade had quoted Dikeh as saying.

"Tonto Dikeh went on social media to seek the forgiveness from Johnson who she insulted four years ago, for which Johnson replied immediately, telling her she forgave her wholeheartedly.

"Dikeh has also raised questions on her marriage as she recently dropped the last name of her husband and the description 'wife' from her social media page.

A 17-year-old girl from Michigan has been charged with raping a young man at knifepoint. Lestina Marie Smith, of Saginaw Township, was arraigned on Tuesday on two felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

zThe charges stem from an incident that took place on January 11 in Saginaw Township involving Smith and a 19-year-old boy. According to the authorities, Smith pulled a knife on the victim and forced him to engage in oral and vaginal sex with her, reported MLive.com.

The alleged victim has not been named due to the sexual nature of the crime, and no additional details about the suspected assault have been released by police. Smith was ordered held without bond at Saginaw County jail. She is scheduled to appear in court on February 3 for a probable cause hearing.

If convicted of the felonies, the 17-year-old woman could be sentenced to life in prison.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the date for the commencement of the 2016 Batch 'B' (Stream II) Orientation Course.

It made this known in a statement via its Facebook page and on their website.

The statement read:

The NYSC Management wishes to inform prospective Corps members and other stakeholders that the 2016 Batch 'B' (Stream II) Orientation course will commence on Tuesday, 24th January, 2017.

The lineup of activities for the course is shown below:

a. Tue 24th – Wed 25th, Jan 2017- Registration/verification exercise

b. Thursday, 26th January, 2017 – Swearing-in ceremony

c. Monday, 13th February, 2017 – Closing ceremony

Prospective Corps members are advised to report to camp at the scheduled date as registration/verification will end at midnight of January 25, 2017.

All are also to note that original copies of academic credentials and other documents uploaded during the online registration MUST be presented on camp for physical verification.

In addition, all Prospective Corps members MUST present medical certificate from a government or military hospital showing their health status before they will be registered and admitted for the Orientation course.

My name is bamisaye olasunkanmi Michael a.k.a Catty Mandy a Nigerian citizen and this was my encounter with the Nigerian Police.

After my regular day job, I went to the airport to receive my package which was sent to me by my brother from South Africa.

I successfully received my package and headed home.

It was late by the time I was going home,11:30pm precisely and I was waiting for a bus at the popular Naco bus-stop.

The Naco bus-stop is along the international airport road,not too far from the airport itself.

There were people at the bus-stop waiting for a bus as well.

Just then 3 policemen arrived on a bike.

This was not suprising because there is a  police station at Naco bus-stop.

On their way into their station they cited everyone waiting at the bus-stop for a bus. They questioned everyone what we were doing there and we responded that we were waiting for a bus.   

They cited my package and this prompted questions immediately. 

They asked what was in the package, I responded by telling them it was my personal belongings which was sent to me by my brother from the South Africa and I just received it from the airport that night.

Immediately they shouted "it's a lie,it's money that is there".

They scared everyone around away and started assaulting me with questions.

I told them it wasn't money that I should open it for them to see but they wouldn't listen,one officer ALI MAKINTA  was one of the 3policemen that lead the assault. 

They hit me very hard with the back of their gun, I started bleeding and I fainted.

They took my package and my phone. 

They left me lying on the floor bleeding to death.

Few minutes later a Nigerian Army came to my rescue. 

Captain Akinleye helped me to recover my phone,took me to the nearest hospital for attention where my wounds were stitched, took me home and gave me his number to call when I felt better. Thank God for him that night.

I am not writing this because I want to tell a story.

I am writing this because I want youths to voice out to our nation,Nigeria.

We are not safe anymore,our security is on the line.

Our policemen now steal from us under the umbrella that they are protecting Nigeria from fraudsters(Yahoo guys),and beacuse of this every guy is a fraud.

If you have a laptop they'll take it from you or ask for bribe.

If you own an iPhone they'll take it and it become theirs automatically.

If you own a car they'll take you to their station for statement.

popular Lagos socialite, Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu popularly known as Pretty Mike leading his two girls in chains to a wedding ceremony yesterday.

The 30-year-old entrepreneur is the co-owner of Club Uno, formerly Q Club on Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos. Last year he stepped out with two girls that were  leashed to a friend's wedding and now just in the first week of the new year he has done it again

SAD!! Husband Dies In Accident While Returning To Lagos With Wife 3 Days After Wedding (Photos)

A man has reportedly lost his life in an accident while returning to Lagos with his wife, Onyeagba Cynthia Chy on Thursday, 5th of January.

According to Facebook user, Chukwudi Iwuchukwu who shared the sad story, the couple got married on Jan. 2nd and were returning to Lagos on January 5th when they were involved in a horrific car accident.

The husband died on the spot while the woman, Cynthia, made it out alive but was badly injured and is currently in hospital. However, where they were returning from in was not stated in the post. See more photos below:
